We had a fantastic four night stay at L’Avenida. This was my second trip to Soller, last time staying at the port. The hotel is really wonderful. Stunning old building. Wonderful terrace overlooking the pool and mountains at the back. Perfect for our welcome drink and for early evening drinks.
The pool is lovely (freezing!) with plenty of loungers with comfy cushions and loads of towels. Lots of other seating too if you don’t fancy the loungers.
The hotel is small enough that it feels welcoming and personal but not so small that you feel like you are being looked over.
The breakfast is included in the room rate and was really fantastic. Buffet style but you can also order eggs any way: omelette, eggs benedict, pancakes, french toast and a full English. They have bread, fruit, cheese, ham etc on the buffet and then some enticing treats every day... perhaps local pastries, avocado toast, local pate... we had so many delicious things!
The room was really large, gorgeous huge windows and really high ceilings. Super comfy bed. Toiletries are lovely. Really big bathroom.
The hotel is located on a quiet street, but really convenient for the town square and for the tram stop (to the port) and station, just a couple of minutes walk.
Really relaxing, wonderful break. I hope to come back!More
