“First class hotel and service - Thankyou !”
Reviewed October 24, 2007

Our flight landed in Palma early morning in a thunderstorm ! We eventually made our way through bursts of torrential rain to the tram station and on to beautiful Soller where blue clouds greeted us ! And imagine our delight at finding our hotel to be fantastic as well ! The Palma storms were forgotten as we stood on a balcony to survey the Soller Town square and mountains which stretched before us ! Two families had booked several nights in the apartment owned by Toni and a final night at the main hotel site. Both were simply excellent !!

The apartment (entrance between two cafes) is up a couple of steep stairs but worth the effort because the view and clean environment. Rooms were uncluttered but well decorated and the bathroom shared between the 3 bedrooms was massive. Two bedrooms had views the third had no window or view (but the kids didn't mind this!)

The main hotel rooms were nicely decorated , very clean and adequate space. A pleasant environment indeed !

The hotel food was first class with steak and lamb to die for !! The breakfasts included a fine choice of omelettes, pastries and fresh fruit salads etc. I have nothing but praise for Toni and his team. They were patient, hard working and helpful.

In short, loved Soller, loved Mallorca and loved La Vila !!

La Vila hotel is right on the village square of Soller. Good for watching the world go by. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had dinner on our second night and the standard was excellent. The local wines were very good too. The front rooms are a bit noisy during the night as that is when the bins are emptied. Rooms at the back are quieter and look over to the hills. Would definitely go back

We stayed here the first week in September and were very impressed with this hotel. Soller is a beautiful place and the hotel is situated directly on the main square. The location is great but this has its disadvantages insofar as the rooms facing onto the square can be quite noisy. Parking can be a problem so it is essential to inform Toni in advance so a space can be reserved in the garage.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Toni was there every day and always asking if everything was ok. He even made us a packed lunch when we left too early for breakfast on our last day!

We would certainly go back and have recommended it to our friends. The room was quite small but very clean and nicely furnished.

We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and this was the best food we had whilst in Soller. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the freshly-squeezed orange juice.

We arrived here with trepidation after reading one of the last reviews. However we need not have worried
The bedroom was overlooking the garden, a bit small but well appointed and exceptionally clean, lovely thick towels and very quiet air conditioning. Very good value for money in my opinion!
Tony was very helpful and on site every day. He was extremely helpful about the car parking as we had not booked it in advance. The 3 girls who served in the Hotel were fantastic and very friendly
The food in the restaraunt was way above average and we ate here every night apart from Monday when it is closed
The scallops and risotto and rack of lamb are to die for. I would certainly come again just for the food and would recommend anyone to eat here even if you don't stay at the Hotel

I stayed with my wife at this beautiful hotel for a week and enjoyed every minute.
Just prior to our holiday departure we read some less than glowing reviews of the Hotel on Trip Advisor, but we couldn't fault it.
The Hotel is situated right in the Main Square of Soller, which is a perfect position to enjoy the daily and evening coming and goings of this picturesque town.
The Hotel interior has been magnificently restored and was always a pleasure to walk into.
Our room was simple, clean, quiet and with a beautiful view of the garden.
Toni and all his great staff were always available and very friendly.
We would certainly recommend the breakfast(especially scrambled eggs with tomato!!!),as well as the Hotel restaurant;although it is well worth sampling some of the other restaurants in the town.
We would without hesitation recommend the Hotel Vila and the stunning town of Soller and can't wait to return.

Arrived at Hotel on Monday -not good - shut - managed to get in via another guest - cleaner phoned Tony who when he arrived told us that the travel agent who booked us through the the website had ovebooked (not first time this had happened) and there was no room available - not a good start - however he upgraded us to a 3 bedroomed penthouse apartment in the square which was excellent - despite the 3 flights of very steep stairs - good job we are fairly fit - and we had full use of the hotel - I was dissapointed as I really did want the experiecne of staying at the hotel - however last 3 nights we moved to an excellent garden room in the hotel - the dinner in the evening was excellent - marvellous chef - lovely setting in the candlelit gardens - we were well looked after by the 3 waitresses - especially Patricia who was lovely - we would go back but this time defintley would book directly with Tony - will not use the agent again - be aware the square is very very busy and noisy - evev during the night and very early morning - so a garden room is essential for us - I was already aware of this - have been to Soller before.
