“A lovely experience”

From the moment we arrived young Andreas looked after us explaining the area and giving us maps and information plus a welcome drink, extremely professional. The hotel is in a beautiful location, an oasis in the town of Soller, and a very peaceful spot. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Family owned and spotlessly clean with spacious grounds. A great find, we will definitely return.

I am a much travelled cynic and so I took the reviews of this small hotel with some scepticism. I am pleased to say that all the superlatives used in the reviews are true. We spent a very pleasant, relaxing, enjoyable week in Ca's Curial in the care of Andres and his family The setting is perfect and the care that has been taken to provide a unique holiday experience is evident. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent with the Friday paella not to be missed. There is a good selection of local wines and we recommend ordering a pre-meal gin and tonic! We have already recommended Ca's Curial to friends and would like to return.

Room Tip: We selected and were given a suite (Room 6) on the first floor which exceeded our expectations. We h...

We stayed here for a week on a walking holiday in the Soller area of Mallorca and it was a real treat. Set in lush gardens and an extensive orange grove, it would be hard to fault the Ca's Curial experience for all round indulgence. From the extensive buffet breakfast to the peaceful poolside area, great attention has been paid to make sure clients go home with an excellent impression of Mallorcan hospitality. On a more practical note, the hotel is situated a short stroll away from the centre of Soller, a choice of restaurants and variety of shops. Unusually for us, we didn't hire a car on this holiday so this was an important point. We will definitely go back very soon.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms open onto the garden

We have just returned from our fourth visit to this delightful family run finca. Situated only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Soller, you are in the most tranquil of settings surrounded by an abundance of orange and lemon groves. Upon arrival, you are welcomed with a glass of the most refreshing orange juice you can imagine. Andres and his family's attention to detail can be found everywhere, whether it be the bedrooms, dining area, the grounds, the pool or simply their willingness to share their local knowledge of places to visit. For us, the hiking in this part of Mallorca was superb and Ca's Curial is a perfect base from where to start. A large number of walks can be started from the finca itself - however buses and taxis are relatively inexpensive. As well as sampling the in house evening meal (which is a treat), there is an abundance of restaurants/cafes in Soller. And a day trip to Palma on the train is a great day out. And if you need a taxi from the airport, Antonio is your man. Andres will sort all that out for you (about 45 euros each way). The only down side with this place is that due to its increasing popularity, this jewel gets booked up months in advance.

We stayed here for three nights on a walking holiday in North Majorca. Set in its own grounds it is a little gem. Entry is by a coded key pad, the grounds are extensive (if this had been in the UK a developer would have turned the grounds into a housing estate by now!). It was very peaceful and the owners were extremely helpful. We had booked this holiday back in January and even at that time the hotel was full so we were offered a three bedroomed cottage in the grounds which we decided to accept. I cannot comment on the hotel rooms but this cottage is usually let for families, we were a group of five friends. It only had two bathrooms but for such a short time we managed well. The bedrooms were rather basic but comfortable. Our room was up a rather steep set of stairs so you need to be fit.
We had dinner in the covered terrace dining room on our first evening. It was a good meal, obviously cooked from scratch because I saw some of the preparations earlier in the evening, served by Andreas and Antonio.
Breakfast was a self service buffet. The food was very well presented with a good variety, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh pastries and bread and a varying hot selection each morning. My only little 'nitpick' was the catering pack cold meats and cheeses. The breakfast tables were beautifully set out with fresh orange and lemon leaves and fruit that glistened. (I think it had been kept in the fridge overnight so that it looked attractive when put on the tables).
We had a lovely stay here and I would recommend it.

Third time we have visited and once again standards are as high as ever. What a privilege to stay in such a beautiful family run hotel. For people like us who do not wish to hire a car one feels as if one is in the country even though it is only a ten minut walk into Soller.Only disadvantage is that one now has to book much further ahead than was the case a few years ago.

Room Tip: Rooms priced according to standard so take your pick

We were a family of five, we normally holiday in quite expensive hotels so we didn't know what to expect from a Finca. As other contributors have said the location is superb and so peaceful and yet only a short walk from Soller. The breakfasts are gorgeous and the evening meal we had was superbly presented and of excellent quality. The staff are all so friendly and helpful at all times. The pool and surrounding area are incredible, we often found we had it completely to ourselves. We had 2 suites the only problem with one of them is that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs, far from satisfactory when we were sampling the local wines and drinking copious amounts of delicious fresh orange juice in the evenings, are own fault as it does show this arrangement on the website.
All in all we had a fabulous 2 week holidayand wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: avoid the suite with the bathroom downstairs from the bedroom
