Had a very pleasant tapas lunch here which is situated just up a narrow lane just along from the main square. Took some time to get the waiter to take our order but once he did service was good and food was excellent.

We dined here 3 times in our one week stay in Soller. There is a daily choice of several small "Tapas" plus a regular menu of hot tapas inspired from around a world. The staff are helpful and friendly and the quality of the food great and at a reasonable price too.

I went once with a friend of mine over luchtime few months ago and it was nice, so I decided to invite another friend one day that we were near the place, we went over 21:30 night to have something light for eat and drink and:

· No variety of tapas at all, just expensive menu selection. We were told that they are not making more tapas since they weren't expecting so much people that night, but there was only 2 tables empty, the rest was full of customers (over 90% of the restaurant), we decided to wait for it but in 2 hours there was no tapas at all, just menu.

· Over 5 or 6 people "working" and we had to wait over 15 minutes to be attended, they were all talking in the backbar and only one of the bartenders was effectively working (as I said, over 90% full), workers were just cleaning glasses and chatting between them meanwhile people was waiting.

· They had to took the order three times, it was mistaken twice, they brought food that we didn't ask for. and nearest customer to us had the same problem.

· When I had half beer done I noticed there was a huge white stuff whatever-it-was inside the glass, like mayonaisse, totally disgusting.

· No space between tables.

· They charged more beers than we drank, they only said 'someone screw up' and they fixed it.

I cannot remember if the workers are the same than the first time I went or the mangement changed but the experience was totally different.

We had a very enjoyable evening here in October. Even though it was towards the end of the season this Tapas Bar was very busy. There was a singer who was excellent.
The staff were lovely, the food was great and there is an excellent wine selection. The only small negative would be the fact that I found the chairs quite uncomfortable after a while.
Overall, thoroughly recommended.

A great find in a small street just off the main square. Third visit within a week has proved that there is a very talented young chef hidden in this kitchen of this simple restaurant. Imaginative small bites of tapas served on sticks or bread at various prices but the quality of the freshly cooked food prepared by Guillermo and brigade is worthy of a visit. Last night we shared three hot dishes - fifteen, perfectly cooked, small scallops, a platter of soft and tender deep fried baby squid, finishing with a small special, dish of the day, tuna which was succulent and pink in the middle. All items of food which in the hands of a lesser chef could be a disaster - but not here!
Good service too from Gabriel and his restaurant team but best of all great value too. The meal above for two which included a bottle of wine, two glasses of red and a litre of water E50. A final tip is to ask the staff for their suggestions of the day which in our experience will not let you down.
