“A delightful place to stay”
Reviewed December 20, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

A delightful and incredibly relaxing place to stay. Very pretty, clean and comfortable and located in a wonderful position surrounded by orange groves but easy walking distance from the centre of Soller. We couldn't decide whether the best thing about Villa Sofia was the glorious view from the terrace or the magical little courtyard garden with its beautiful bougainvillea and plumbago. The owners were very solicitous and well-organised: thank you Stuart! Somewhere we'd love to return to.

“LOVELY LOCATION AND VIEWS”
Reviewed October 31, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

A very nice clean and well maintained villa in a good location only a short walk to the centre of Soller and the local shops. The house has a great garden and upper terrace with stunning views of the mountains and was a perfect place to go cycling and walking from.

“Generally that satisfactory so there is nothing more to add!”
Reviewed September 14, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This house is a perfect resting Place when travelling to Soller. Excellent location Close to the city centre of Soller, although calm and quiet. Easy to walk to both supermarket and restaurants. The house is well equipped with bed, chair and toys for Children. It also has a nice kitchen, although no dishwasher. Good sleeping rooms with good beds (AC only available in 2 of 3 rooms), fresh linen and the bathrooms are in nice shape. I recommend to have a car. If possible not to big, if you´re not used to driving one. It is generally narrow streets and the parking lot is quite narrow and has a roof which is a bit tricky to handle. We drove a Mercedes minivan (Vitus) and with some effort we managed to take it in and out all week without trouble but something smaller would be more convenient. The roof terrace makes up for every parking effort! It was wonderful up there in the evening and we spent almost every night up there eating, drinking, talking. The booking was made by my parents in law and they were impressed by the Quick answers from the host and excellent descriptions and suggestions we got. In summary a Lovely vacation where the house had a great part!

Very comfortable, warm (we were there in December), spotlessly clean and quiet (apart from neighbouring dog, but he soon settled down). Perfect location - easy walk into town, able to walk straight out into lovely countryside, 10 mins drive to local beach. Fantastic views from property of the mountains that surround Soller.

“Fantastic Villa!”
Reviewed September 8, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed at villa Sofia for one week at the end of August and we loved it. Fabulous villa, fully kitted out, nice touches, handy bbq, sun terraces, amazing views and walks from the door into Soller or the hills surrounding the town. One week wasn't enough time to enjoy everything this villa and location have to offer. We decided not to hire a car at all and Stuart kindly organised an airport pickup for €55 which was decent value. Hired road bikes for a couple of days and enjoyed a glorious ride to Deia and Valdemossa and back into the town via the col de Soller....really recommend it! Soller is 10 mins easy stroll away and has lovely restaurants and one or two bars. Super meal at Ca'n Pintxo with super modern way of ordering tapas etc. only down side of our trip, not booking it for two weeks! Very relaxing for me and my wife. Hoping to go back ne t year with friends and family.

“Perfect base to explore all Mallorca has to offer.”
Reviewed January 25, 2015 for a stay in September 2014

A group of four of us stayed in this beautiful villa in September. The location of the villa was ideal, only a lovely stroll from the centre of picturesque Sóller. It was a perfect base to explore all the region has to offer from relaxing on the beach or renting a yacht for an afternoon in Port de Sóller, to more active adventures such as hiking or mountain biking through the mountain trails in the incredibly scenic countryside.

The villa itself is spacious and very tastefully decorated. It has the most incredible backdrop with 2 roof terraces and a lovely patio to soak in the breathtaking panoramic vista throughout the day from sunrise to sunset. We even did yoga on the roof terrace as the sun rose from behind the mountains, a truly unforgettable experience.

We barbequed several evenings in the villa and on the other evenings we dined in some of the many lovely restaurants Sóller has to offer.

We couldn't recommend Villa Sofia and Sóller highly enough. All in all a lovely villa and a fabulous holiday! Thank you!

“The perfect place to stay and enjoy the pretty island of Majorca.”

Villa Sofia is a delightful family house situated on the outskirts of Soller.
It's clean and homely, the beds are extremely comfortable and the showers are excellent. The two balconies, good for star gazing on a clear night, have views across to the mountains.
The pretty patio, festooned with cascades of bougainvillea and plumbago, is perfect for al fresco dining and there are shady spots to escape the sun if you want to.
With its imposing church and bustling square, Soller has retained its authentic majorcean character. The railway station of the famous Soller train is an imposing building with an exhibition of original works by Miro and Picasso.
There is lots of information in the house about local walks and places of interest in the area.
and there's a huge selection of bars and restaurants and a safe sandy beach at nearby Port de Soller.
Highly recommended
