We have been in soller for two weeks and visited this restaurant 4 times now. It doesn't pretend to be anything it's not- it's great sized portions of good food with lovely staff at a very reasonable price.

Lets start on a positive note: The restaurant is situated nicely on the square and the service was fine. Sadly, the food was positively the worst meal I have ever had in Spain!

We had: Big mixed tapas-plate, pizza marguerita, Tortilla and Squid rings.

The tapas plate was a total disaster, a real mess of badly prepared food stuffed together on a plate. Some of it was cold and some overcooked. All in all, I tasted one bite of everything and nothing of it tasted remotely like what these sppanish classics do when properly prepared.

Pizza Marguerita was for my child, and this is what we got: A ton o cheese on a very poor, frozen pizza type, bread. Very, very poor quality.

The tortilla was actually ok, but not something that is very hard to make either. The only dish we finished this night. Squid rings looked like they came from a bag of frozen rings, but couldnt say for sure, but they were chewy and lacked taste.

I can't understand all the positive ratings its got, but if you like tapas know what they are supposed to taste like, then avoid this tourist trap and go to some of the bars you will find in the smaller steets of Soller.

The restaurant sits out into Soller square so you can see the hustle and bustle of the old Soller town. Restaurant atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Tapas very good. Main course prawns with garlic butter not good. Prawns we soggy and no garlic! I had John dory fillet, very good however doesn't need to be covered in prawn sauce. House white very acceptable hence having 2 bottles between the two of us!
