After a fabulous train journey to get to the port we wanted an extraordinary eating experience - and got it! We had heard good reports about the Lua and wanted a long, relaxed lunch, and it was perfect. We took a chance and opted for a table outside on the wonderful roof-terrace, the view is fantastic and is a real sun trap when the clouds part.
We decided to go for the four course lunch for 25 euros and we all enjoyed the "sampling" menu, the various fish dishes were superb especially the marinated sardines! The service was polite, friendly and attentive without being hurried. Although our spanish was rudimentary the very nice cuban waiter's english was more than adequate to describe everything on offer. At his suggestion we had a mixed selection of desserts which we all shared - some were just marvellous whilst others were gorgeous.
All in all it was a perfect if slightly expensive way to spend an afternoon in Port de Soller.
