Awesome! Great people running this place, they really looked after their customers. Staff spoke good english and german. A great place to go! I'm coeliac so eating out is hard. But the owners sister (if I understood correctly) is one too.... This means they were well equipped to not only handle a coeliac dinner, but still make a greatly tasty meal too! Had the Monkfish. Very fresh, very tasty. My partner had the Mallorcan Fish pie dish thing and it was exquisite. Great vibe to the place. It's small so I'm sure it would get full quickly, especially in the high season, may need to book. Wasn't actually that expensive either. Would go back in a heartbeat.

“Pretty good”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Buzzy, no nonsense, restaurant at the far end of the Port, keep walking same direction as the tram when you arrive. Tables by the roadside on a small hill and also lower on the promenade area. Mostly fish, quality good. Mallorcan Fish Pie reported to be V good by my companions, and looked good to me. Good service to start but it got very slow as the place got busy, wine at reasonable prices. Worth a visit

“Poor tapas and value for money: but great service.”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

We chose to visit Soller on the day half of Germany turned up in buses - not ideal for a relaxing late summer's lunch- but we made the best of it.

Port Soller - down the road from the main town, through an impressive road tunnel - or on the local wooden train, is very pretty - dramatic mountains overlooking the bay and marina.

We chose to eat outside, above the main promenade at Es Raco des Port - we thought we were actually eating in the adjoining restaurant - El Pirat I think - so when the server came to take our order, we were surprised!

We chose bread and olives, croquettes, peppers, patatas bravas and mussels. Water and a beer for drinks to go with the meal.

The bread was stale and the olives sort of squishy with not a bite to them AT all. Our tapas - the peppers were nicely presented but tasteless- despite sea salt adorning the skins, the croquettes bland, patatas bravas - very disappointing - in that they were simply cubes of fried potatoes and the "bite" had to come from a chilli based sauce. The mussels were ok.

Coffee and a mint tea brought the total to what I thought was rather expensive - €47.50 - given the quality of the good. But, that said, you know you are paying a premium for the location. The location is fine, service good but the food is very poor.

On balance, to be avoided.
