A very popular place, particularly on weekends. I had 5 lunch/dinners whilst stuck in Majorca during the Volcano eruption when an extra week was added to my stay.
Prices are reasonable compared to the restaurants on the sea front, and the food is very good, particularly local specialities like suckling pig and slow cooked shoulder of lamb.
Fixed price lunch menus from 8 euros are excellent value, and a half bottle of wine at 3 euros is hard to beat. A real find.

Thankfully we found this place early in our stay in P de Soller as the resort is full of mediocre overpriced establishments. R Campo Sol is on a backstreet behind the Marina Hotel. It doesn't advertise itself but it's worth hunting down. This is where the other local restauranters go to eat, so that must count for something.

The food is great, and authentically Mallorcan. The menu del dia offers real value and slightly more expensive specialities are truly delicious; I particularly recommend the suckling pig.

The only downside is that the service is wonderfully hit and miss. This is a real example of true Spain, so just relax and go with it.

For great value try the Campo Sol.Oct 09,a three course menu del dia(menu of the day)cost only 8 Euros. Big Tuna salad starter followed by pork steaks and then local Soller ice cream.Together with 1/2 bottle of the acceptable house red 11 euros.Try beating that. Well done to all the staff at the Campo Sol.Has been great for the last 19 years and long may it be so.Thank you all .

We were pleased to come across a restaurant with prices much better than the over priced restaurants everywhere else in this lovely area.
We enjoyed the meal and you can tell that, as it was often fully booked that others were seeking value for money which is almost entirely missing elsewhere in the port . The suckling pig was 'to die for ' but the whole evening was spoiled by the service which was appalling. We waited 50 minutes! before they took our order and it was obvious that despite attracting their attention which was not easy, that they were determined to run this at their pace, which had I been a snail would have been fine!
Thankfully my wife and I can turn negatives in to laughter so we decided to laugh at them rather than with them which would be difficult as they were never there!
Shame really because they care about their food but not the customers.
