“Definitely recommend it”

Very good meal here, great location amongst the beautiful backstreets of pollenca. Great quality food, lovely selection and plenty of it. 25 euro menu is great value for what you get. Topped off with a great bottle of local Rosé. Service was good, would eat here again although heard the menu doesn't change very often (shame as we'd be back next week if it did). Well worth a visit!

“Tapas by the Calvary steps!”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

This restaurant is beautifully set in a little square at the foot of the Calvary steps. Tables are all outside under trees.
The menu is set and unfortunately unvarying all summer! However what is offerred is excellent from a gazpacho shot, a trio of bruschette, meatballs with couscous and a slightly dry Moroccan chicken dish. The lemon pudding was especially good.
We very much enjoyed a bottle of rose wine from C'an Vidalet a local producer but when we asked for a second bottle stocks had run out!
We would have visited again during our holiday but as the menu did not change we decided to try other places.

“Great tapas”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our evening here, the staff went out of there way to help, talking us through each course, I believe there were five, it was a set menu. I'm not sure if there were any vegetarian alternatives. My husband enjoyed all his courses but I didn't eating only 90%.
The wine we were recommended to have was the best of all we had throughout our two week stay in Pollenca. It was from the bogeda, Can Vidalet and really delicious!

“Highlight of our trip”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

This is a popular little place in a beautiful setting, so make sure to make a reservation!
We had the evening tapas menu, which was really nice, tasty and creative and served in a very pleasing way. The menu probably changes from time to time, but the food we had was a little bit Moroccan inspired.
The atmosphere is really romantic, as the restaurant is literally placed on the bottom of the Calvari stairs and it is beautifully lit.
The service was excellent, a bit hasty, but generally the staff were really friendly and nice.

All in all, it was the gastronomic highlight of our trip.

“Great Location, Great Food”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

This restaurant has an enviable location in the heart of a beautiful square in old Pollenca. The staff are helpful and professional. We had the tapas taster menu which was quite expensive at EUR25 but was very good quality and made it feel a special occasion. Choose your night carefully if you don't like saxophone ! The regular entertainment is a saxophonist playing to a backing track which I found pretty painful.
