The owner is always messing with the mike and the dummy...making you think the thing is talking to you....and I found out he is the one that has the Christmas light show each night at his home in Van Buren....all the music and lights are syncronized....what a show.
Our family enjoys Sisters in Van Buren ...the burgers,pies,buttet....it's all good. And Sister's has live music each Fri and Sat nights.

Thank Susie M

Only had lunch, but the restaurant was clean and very pleasant atmosphere. My salad and co-worker had the same chicken salad, fresh and plenty, refills on ice tea. Staff awesome.

The best thing about this restaurant is the really great staff. We descended upon the restaurant at lunch-time as a huge group of 13, which as anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant can tell you is a bit of a challenge. They were extremely accommodating, setting up one large table so that we could sit together and did a wonderful job keeping us in a steady supply of water (so important on such a hot day) and for getting our food to us in a very quick and efficient manner.

We ordered a variety of sandwiches and entrees all of which were pretty good. The best part was the excellent cake we all shared at the end of our meal in honor of my niece's birthday. She loves chocolate and luckily for us there was a full chocolate cake decorated with bits of Hershey's chocolate in the case. The waitress was even kind enough to present it to my niece with candles in it and then slice it into pieces for us. Again, kudos to the staff for a job well done.

If you happen to be in Van Buren and want a nice restaurant with a great staff and an intimate style, this is definitely a place worth trying out.

We had lunch at Sisters yesterday. There was a frightening mannequin to greet us at the door. I ordered the Salad with Pecan encrusted chicken with a Mai-Tai, one friend ordered the large breakfast and the other friend ordered the beef soup with a glass of wine. We were all well pleased with the quality of the food and pleasant attentiveness of the server.

I took my wife to Sister's a couple of months ago for breakfast and we were somewhat disappointed in the food. My wife ordered a spicy type of breakfast casserole and she really didn't care for it at all. It tasted sort of like a taco or burrito and she said it just wasn't what she expected for breakfast. We were also disappointed in the white gravy that came with the biscuits. It didn't seem to be homemade at all and was not a very good consistency and the flavor was not good at all. We haven't been back since and we haven't tried any other menu items, but the breakfast we had there was somewhat of a disappointment.
