“Cool to cool off”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

A good walk (even my Granny did it) to see the falls and once there why not indulge under nature's shower for that fresh feeling!

“Nice walk - beautiful waterfall”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Only half an hour away from the center of Kobarid. Nice & easy walk through the woods but you won't be the only visitor during the high season. No entrance fee like in Bohinj (Slap Savica). The walk ends in a cave where the waterfall is to be seen. Very picturesque & highly recommended!

“great walk”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

We walked from the parking lot near kamp Koren, there was a wide path till the brigde and then it became narrower and with tree roots. If the river is full with water then it's could became more challenging to reach the waterfall. (stones in the path could be slippy) but the waterfall is marvellous! Don't give up before you get there, because it is more closer, than it seems like!
And it is definately worth to see!

“I Agree! So worth it!!”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

The other reviewers are right! This wasn't in my guidebook. (stupid book!) so I found out through some locals I had met. Hubby was out mountain biking so decided to explore it on my own. Well worth the effort. Older tourists may have a bit of a challenge to get there but just the walk alone is lovely. (wear comfy shoes) If you have vertigo this might not be for you. There were however, lots of families with small children. Unlike the one reviewer, when I went it was packed with hikers. That still shouldn't distract you though. The end is like a scene from a movie.

There are plenty of places to stop and have a picnic. So enjoy yourself!

“Wondrous falls with crystal blue green water pool down...”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

This phenomenal fall is in Kobarid region. It’s the highest waterfall on the brook and the only one which is accessible for tourist as the other 5 falls doesn’t have a set path. One must appreciate the efforts of the people who did a great job in constructing passage which made it easy walk for even elderly people to have the fantastic view of the fall and the pool down the fall with blue green water. The water is freezing cold if you think of swimming.
The walk way closer to the fall is beautifully made with rod support at the side for the visitors to balance. One the way to the falls you see bunkers used during the World War. It’s quite a good walk up to the falls so recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
It’s worth a visit.
