Helen is a gem. I have stayed with her so many times I have lost count. This woman is brilliant at being the perfect hostess. She could teach the 5 star hotels a thing or two. Home baking on arrival not matter what time you get there. And your pyjamas wrapped neatly around a hot water bottle on a cold winter's night. I almost don't want to tell you about this gem in case you take my room. But Helen deserves the accolades.

I have for work reasons been staying in many hotels and restaurants in the republic of Ireland and had the enormous pleasure of staying in this guest house - not that there are any views to be had - nor sumptuous furnishings and surroundings - but what really stands out is the absolute professionalism of the good lady running this B&B. The breakfasts were a work of art - almost a shame to eat them ! Presentation was perfect. So too the freshly baked breads and cakes in the evening - the greatest pleasure you could give the lady in question was to sit down and chat about your day while sampling her delicious baking.
An information booklet put together specially for you on local trips, walks, places of interest is also available.

Thoroughly recommended for pampering before and after a hard days work !
