For years I have been waiting for a chance to visit this garden and yesterday it happened!
What a garden, magic not an inch without interest , wonderful planting and design with plants of all colours, textures and size. Fairies live here too , lots of them peer from the shrubs and plants.
Thai tea house, several water features , many places to sit and enjoy the scene. And tea/coffee and homemade cakes; now who would not want to visit here. The problem is having to leave Terra Nova!!

I had a visit to Terra Nova for a while and never quite got round to it and finally last year I managed to make it on a nice Sunny Day too thankfully. I have a feeling Deborah's nice relaxing Sunday morning was used up by me but she certainly did'nt show it. Of course I got a warm welcome and a great tour round the gardens which is packed full of great plants with lots of interesting quirky corners, structures and creatures. Of course I think the garden was made even more reliable with the whitty and charming banter of the owners Deborah and Martin. I was quite surprised to find lots of nice cakes and coffee on the Thai Tea House at the end as the couple recounted there amazing garden journey and development. It was great too to be able to chat a pick the brains of such accomplished gardeners as long as we all know Deborah has the final word :-) I would recommend anyone who loves plants and gardens to visit here, it may be a little out of the way but the journey is well worth it and so much more to offer than some of the more well know garden attractions in the area. Plan for plenty of time as while the garden might be classes as small but there so much to see.

Of all the gardens I have visited 'Terra Nova' is my favourite and I can't wait to go back. There is so much in this garden it feels more like 5 acres than half! You won't be disappointed.
