We brought a group of 16 international visitors to Kilmallock for a 5 day workshop and stayed at the Deebert House. The hotel served excellent, well priced meals and had no problem accommodating sone very diverse diets! The hotel staff was friendly, very helpful and gracious in their help. We have no problem giving the Deebert House Hotel and their staff our highest recommendation!

Spent one night at the Deebert recently and discovered a hidden gem of a town with an excellent well-priced hotel. The room was spacious (with a lovely view towards the abbey) and the bathroom adequate although the wash basin was inexplicably small. Breakfast was good and my poached eggs perfectly cooked (a sign of an attentive chef!). Nice atmosphere in the hotel which seemed to be well supported by local people giving it a feel of being part of the community. Every member of the staff we met was genuinely friendly and invariably helpful. Kilmallock is a fascinating, historic, beautiful town that seems to be underadvertised.

For anyone wanting a good quality hotel this is perfect. The hotel is situated in a quiet location in easy walking distance to Kilmallock. Our room overlooked the Ballyhoura Mountains. For our four night stay we had a spacious room with a more than adequate bathroom, both of which were well kept and clean.
For breakfast a good range of food is available.
Margret, the owner, made us very welcome. All the staff was very nice and friendly.
Well done to everyone.

We stayed one night here, at the end of a short tour, prior to a flight back from Shannon (an easy hour's drive away). The hotel (a converted mill) has a modern, squeaky clean interior (lots of pine and stainless steel), with comfortable rooms and friendly efficient staff. It's also 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kilmallock, set in a pleasant rural location. The bar/restaurant is a bit bland and the food, while the portions are ample, is fairly uninspired; better for a pub lunch than a proper dinner.

Spent two days here midweek with my boyfriend and we both really enjoyed it. Lovely hotel and staff who were very welcoming and happy to help. Rooms were well maintained and the food was reasonably priced and great quality.

I highly recommend for anyone to stay at this lovely family run establishment.
