“Irish Trad Blast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

Gary picked us up from Dangan Lodge and six of us enjoyed a front row seat for dinner and one heck of a good session of trad music performed by three fiddlers, an accordion player, a guitarist and a young lady who played flute and pipes. Fantastic fun as we enjoyed dancing and toe tapping. Mary and Sylvia were delightful hostesses who brought great food and ample pints. If you're staying at the golf club, Kiltanon Farm, Dangan or any east Claire locations, be sure to stop in on a Wednesday or Sunday evening. It's the real thing!

“A GREAT VISIT TO THE EMERALD ISLAND”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

We were staying at the Kiltanon Home Farm and were told, that Gary the owner of Peppers would come to pick us up for Dinner and Music on Wednesday and later bring us home. The food was excellent, fairly priced and the service and friendship shown were outstanding in every way. Great place to visit, wish to thank, Gary, his wife Mary, and our waitress Sylvia, we had a great time. Bill & Christie

“Cozy atmosphere, good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

Your ideal Irish pub. Food is hearty, and the beer is good. The lamb dish I had was very tender and delicious. My wife's vegetarian dish went over well. Multiple types of beer, try a Smithwicks or a Guinness. Go on a Sunday or Wednesday evening if you can to catch the live traditional Irish music from locals.

“A perfect location for friends to enjoy some food, drink and fun.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

A group of 11 friends and I were staying in the East Clare golf village as a little break away to catch up and to say farewell to a good friend who is travelling to Australia this weekend. We met Gary, owner of the pub who offered to collect us from the village along with his wife Mary free of charge and brought us to Peppers. Both Gary and Mary were very friendly and hospitable. We arrived at the pub and were waited on hand and feet. The service was great as well as the meal. (no complaints out of twelve of us) The meal had that feeling of a "home cooked" dinner our mothers would make. We stayed and drank after our meal while chatting to locals and owners who told us some very funny stories about the pub and the location, including the infamous Pete the poet. As the night went on we decided to go back to the village, and both Gary and Mary drove us back free of charge. We loved the whole experience and decided in Peppers that it would not be the last time we visit. Thanks to everyone for their pleasant and welcoming hospitality!
