Away from the touristic tavernas of the Old Town! A must try when visiting Nafplio! During our next trip to Nafplio we are going to visit it again for sure!

We had a great meal, ironically the owner and his wife were embarrassed since we had found them using trip advisor that we might have been expecting modern touristy food and were quite apologetic about being a regular every day taverna! Well we were looking for authentic and were very happy to find it!! We had get wrapped in filo fried and served with honey and sesame seeds, fried zucchini balls, authentic pasta, ewe meat, spicy sausage... We had to turn down dessert!
A must try

I had the chance to enjoy a fantastic meal with my wife during our stay at Nafplio in late October. We loved the food, meat, especially the beef steak and the kebab. Moreover, the place was nicely decorated and the service quick and clean.

This is our neighborhood taverna in the New Town of Nafplion, so I suppose I am a bit biased. It is immediately behind our apartment. My wife and I appreciate it especially in the colder weather, with the blazing fireplace, but it has a very nice outside dining area as well for the warmer weather. The menu is traditional, limited, changing daily... all of good quality and very affordable. A very nice restaurant away from the touristy tavernas of the Old Town.

Excellent service , great freshly cooked food and good value. A little off the beaten track but worth looking for!
