Can only praise this Pension (aka B&B)! Our stay at Andromeda made our holiday in Peloponnese. I concur with other reviewers, it is a fantastic family run pension in the beautiful, historic quarter of Nafpilo. Will always have very fond memories of being greeted every morning for breakfast by the friendly and welcoming owners, the homemade jams (esp. the fig jam) and the freshly squeezed orange juice, all locally sourced, had such a fresh taste, like the rest of Greek cuisine - divine - made us feel pampered! Just wish they had enough fruit (and permission... I had to ask) we would have bought a few jars to take home.. Our room was a very good size and was very clean - bigger than your typical hotel room. The pension is ideally located for seeing the historic centre of this busy town, significant in recent Greek history. The streets are filled with tavernas and boutiques, then its only a stone throw away to the coastal path, you can take the boat to Bourzi Castle (seen from the harbour, on the island) and later make your way up to Palamidi castle on the hill (some 900+ steps up)...then there's Epidavros, a must see.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a balcony, our room was without a balcony.

We enjoyed our stay in Nafplio and the great location of this pension. The breakfast buffet offered a big variety of choices, including 4-5 great homemade fruit jams, yogurt, fruit, eggs, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The owners were unfailingly friendly and helpful, even though our Greek is limited, and the rom was clean and spacious, with a small internal courtyard.

Highly recommended!! We loved our stay at Andromeda, perfectly located to explore the boutiques and restaurants of Nafplio's old town. Our room was large and spotlessly clean and breakfast was very pleasant with the very friendly and helpful owners. Nafplio and Andromeda turned out to be the highlight of our holiday!

I cannot think of any better location in Nafplio. Very friendly couple who run this B&B. We asked for a room with a balcony and were very pleased to be offered the one with two. Very nice to walk down the few stairs in the morning, have a chat with Ms & Mr, put your fresh breakefast at your tray and bring it back to eat at the balcony watching the town come to live one story below. Fresh orange juice and home made jam were always offered.

Room Tip: The purple room is the one with balcony, not only one but two.

We loved this place! Why? Well, the rooms are large and quite beautiful thanks to Marina's extraordinary taste! Wonderful bathroom with an extraordinary shower cabin. Very quiet. And the location could not possibly be better; in the old town, just two blocks from the harbor. And only a 5 minute walk from the start of the 1000 steps up to the castle.

Our room, Cassiopeia, had two balconies where we could sit and read in the late afternoons.

Breakfast, complete with fresh orange juice and boiled eggs and fresh pastries was a treat.

And Nafplion is a dream of a town; very sophisticated, with marble sidewalks, excellent restos, and reeking with history!

Perhaps the best kept secret of Nafplion is its swimming; the small beach only 10 minutes away, is equipped with swimming ladders bolted onto the rocks allowing easy access to the sparkling sea!

But we will only return to Nafplion if Marina and Paniotis can find room for us! They are truly remarkable innkeepers; nothing is too much trouble for them. They not only found a masseuse for my wife, but Marina insisted on personally escorting her to the appointment for fear Nikki might get lost on the way! On the day we left, Paniotis insisted on arriving at the inn an hour early to make us a farewell breakfast. They found us the best guides; they pointed us toward the best restaurants. They were terrific!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great, but we particularly loved Cassiopeia, a large corner room on the second flo...

I have stayed in many pensions in Naflion & this was perhaps the best. Good central location in the old town, near the parking in the harbour. No steps to reach it, though, as nearly all pensions in Naflion are in listed buildings and lifts are not allowed, one has to climb a flight of stairs to reach the rooms. Breakfast was possible in the rooms but there is a cosy area in the small reception where the owners offer a wide selection of food....& as many cups of coffee that we could down!. A delightful & helpful couple with a good command of English. The rooms are clean & well appointed, featuring traditional antique furniture. I chose a room at the back with a sweet "secret garden" not overlooked by anyone. My friends took the junior suite that has 2 balconies. Admittedly one did face the back of another building, but the second offered a view down the lane to the sea.
Naflion is worth a visit at any time of the year.

I reviwed this hotel after a stay in 2010. Everything I said then, I would repeat now and fully recommend it. Amazingly, the owners recognised us and could even recall our travel companions at the time. Excellent value and a very comfortable bed (not always guaranteed in Geece) and a hearty breakfast.

Room Tip: Kyfaias (spelling?) is very quiet and has a small private patio.
