We had a wonderful stay. Good location and brand new accomadations. Excellent breakfast and helpful owner. Be prepared to walk up about 50 steps to your room from the street, but the view from the courtyard and rooftop is worth it. Barry Landry

My friend and I booked a room here for 3 nights directly with the hotel. We stayed one night in the Muses room on the top floor of the pension. It was really nice and had a great shower. After the first night we moved to their new building - the Amfitriti Hotel Belvedere. We stayed in the Sorokos room. The room was very large and clean. That building of the hotel had only been open for a month. The room has two windows overlooking the city and sea. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.
The two sisters who run the hotel are awesome. They serve a great breakfast every day in the hotel or if you stay in the pension you can have it served in your room. There is also wireless internet in the rooms for free.
Evagelia and Anastacia are wonderful. Evagelia gave us some good information on restaurants and travelling in the area.
Anastacia deserves a special thank you. We had trouble with our brakes on the rental car. She called the rental car company and arranged to have someone come and fix the brakes for us. They are both always friendly and go out of their way to help you in any way possible.
If you are ever in Nafplio, this is definitely the place to stay. I really have nothing bad to say about this hotel. It is a first class place to stay and Napflio is now one of my favorite cities in Greece.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early August. Our room was Mouses- the top floor room with private bath. The room was gorgeous- all done up beautifully with a breakfast area, luggage storage nook, vanity table, refrigerator, flat panel tv, self-controlled a/c, balcony with table, and bathroom with shower stall. In the bathroom there was a package of welcome supplies including slippers and robes! the shower pressure was the best we had on our whole trip. The breakfast was outstanding- delivered to our room every morning when we called for it on two trays; coffee, tea, FRESH OJ, pastries, cereal, cold cuts, breads, jams, fruit- an amazing assortment. We actually could have lunch (and one day dinner) out of the assortment. We would stay there anytime we visit Nafplio. The sisters were incredibly helpful with answering our questions and making our stay extra-special. They will be opening up another place soon and I am sure it will be just as fantastic! Pension Amfitriti is a must-stay if you go to Nafplio.

We were looking for comfort but not in a ritzy, touristy place and found it at this pension. The owner, Evagelia, is a lovely, young energetic woman helped by her sister, Anastasia, and another part-time very pleasant woman. This is a small "hole-in-the-wall" type place, only 5-6 rooms, each decorated in the theme of a different Greek siren. Upon arrival you are treated to a local homemade marmalade - delicious, albeit quite sweet. You are also provided with robes, slippers and high quality toiletries. The rooms are lovely with much attention to detail and the bathrooms are tip-top though our new fangled shower gave us a problem the first night - couldn't access cold water. This was of course remedied the next day. The breakfasts were really over the top - lovely baked goods, Greek yogurt w/ honey, eggs, cold cuts, fresh squeezed orange juice - served in your room at the hour you choose. Since there was so much food left over, we were able to pack up the remainder for lunch later. They also provided bottled water at no charge which was a nice perk. Parking is difficult there (we actually got a ticket from the municipality which we were told to ignore) so it's best to drop off the luggage and park in the free public parking at the port a few minutes walk away. If you are looking for a special place then this is it. If we find ourselves in Nafplio again, we will surely be staying at Amfitriti.

Excellent place, especially for the cost. The two sisters who run the hotel (Eva and Anastasia) are really great and serve an unbelievable breakfast in your room. Try and get the third floor purple room with a view from your own balcony. For engaging interpersonal accommodations and artistic setting, this hotel can not be beat.
