“Great choice”
Reviewed July 7, 2011

Very nice hotel, 10 mins by car from the city of Nafplio. This is a new hotel so you should expect modern spacious rooms, a very nice reception / bar area, a big enough swimming pool with a great view, and a nice coffee/bar/restaurant area next to it.

Breakfast was amazing, with more focus on quality rather than quantity. Most of the stuff are hand made from ingredients growing in the local land. Food was very good and prices reasonable. The hotel staff was also great, very friendly and helpful at all times. Next time we are visiting Nafplio we are definitely choosing the same hotel.

My husband and I spent two delightful weeks at the Perivol Hotel in June/July 2011. The hotel is possibly the best we have ever stayed in during ten years of visiting Greece. We especially liked the quiet location and lovely views over the orange and olive groves towards the Argolitic Gulf. The owners could not have been more helpful, advising about trips and places to visit . The hotel staff were friendly, efficient and the hotel is always spotlessly clean. The freshwater pool is cleaned every day and is a pleasure to plunge into after a days visiting sites and surrounding towns and beaches. The atmosphere at Perivoli is quiet, the decor is modern and has an elegant simplicity. No expense has been spared to make the hotel comfortableand welcoming. The bathrooms are very up to date with lovely power showers, unusual in Greece! A big thank you to Vangelis and Alexis for a very special holiday. We wish you every success in the future and hope to visit again very soon.

Room Tip: There are 12 rooms , all pleasant and spacious

We stayed at Perivoli for four days in June 2011. The location was terrific - on a hill surrounded by orange groves, with vistas to the sea. Our rooms were comfortable and stylish and we also liked the common areas, including the swimming pool. Perivoli made a great base for exploring nearby Mycenae, Ephesus and other sites. And it was a very easy and short drive (maybe 10 mins) into beautiful Nafplion and to charming local beaches.

The two young owners are warm and friendly and offered us many helpful ideas for restaurants and sightseeing. Although the hotel does not offer dinner, we had two nice evening meals in one of the taverns in the village just down the hill.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at Perivoli and would definitely return.

What can we say.....we have stayed in many, many hotels all over the world. But this hotel: we really loved it. The views are perfect, the service is wonderful and the hotel is stunning. The hosts do anything to make you comfortable and do this in a very lovely manner. Do try the lunch in the hotel, because you will love every bite! Hopefully we'll come back one day.....

This small hotel is beautiful, has amazing views, and your hosts are terrific. Everything is done meticulously, from the food to the service. Our room was more than comfortable, and very functional. The views of the olive and orange groves, the village below, and the mountains and sea beyond from our terrace were incredible. The owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us when we had a jam with our rental car, which could have been a disaster. The hotel is very close to Nafplio and a great jumping off point for Epidavros or a day trip to Hydra.

This delightful small hotel is situated in the hills near Nafplion, surrounded by orange groves, with spectacular views through to the sea. It is perfectly situated, within easy reach of three of the best sites in Greece (Mycenae Tiryns and Epidaurus). Very comfortable rooms; a lovely pool; delightful owners. The wild flowers were glorious, pleasant beaches near by and Nafplion is considered the lovliest town in Greece. NOT for lovers of nightlife. We loved it and shall be going back.

Room Tip: There are only 12 rooms - all with lovely views.

It's a little difficult to find but once you get here you won't regret it.

Clean, attractive and modern with a great terrace and pool as well as really nice views over the valley. The standard of the rooms and breakfast is really very very good. Free wifi in the public areas, a nice bar and friendly owners who are happy to chat and share local knowledge.
