Great location in the old Venetian part of town one street from the water. Comfortable room, with a large modern bathroom. Steep stairs. Arty shabby chic décor. Good selection of home made breakfast items.

We found this hotel via TA reviews. We went to their website and saw the decoration of the rooms were a bit quirky, but after reading a lot of reviews, we booked two rooms. We ended up with the Nilo Suite on the first floor. The room was very spacious, with a nice bathroom, wi-fi and a safebox. The furnishings were a bit on the old side, but gave the room "character". The bed itself was a bit on the hard side. Also, the hotel is located on one of the many small pedestrian-only streets and was somewhat noisy with the windows cracked open. During the night, there was a dog barking for a long time in the street below, which disturbed my sleep - not the fault of the hotel of course. The hotel is well-located, close to restaurants and the sea front. You actually have to park at the port and walk 50-200 metres to the hotel. There are flowers everywhere and the place looks very picturesque. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
We would definitely stay here again.

This great little place was appointed with vacation in mind and is also well run. There are no standard, run of the mill rooms here. I would say the design is tasteful, yet fun. Our room was clean and spacious. I loved the sunny room we ate the incredible breakfast selection in. Everything is fresh and home-baked. It is true that it is in a noisy part of town (narrow streets with lots of people walking around and motorcycles going by), but we turned on the air conditioner and then any noise is muffled. I have to add, that I am one of those people who can't sleep when there is noise.

A perfect location for exploring this part of Greece. The hotel is very conveniently located seconds from the sea front. The street runs parallel to the sea front so the actual view of the sea is limited . Nevertheless the hotel fronts and backs onto 2 flower bedecked pleasant, airy streets. The staff are welcoming and friendly and anxious to please. The breakfasts were the best we had in Greece with a wonderful variety of home made local produce. The decor IS quirky and possibly not to everyone's taste but if you look at the web site you know exactly what you are going to get. It actually feels like a pleasant upbeat change from ubiquitous 'boutique hotel neutral travertine' rooms. The lighting was a bit dark in the bedroom -avid readers take your booklights with you.
The hotel recommended a great restaurant 2 doors away which was fantastic -a pity I can't remember the name to give it a separate review.

Room Tip: Look at the web site carefully and say if one doesn't appeal when booking. Ask for a balcony..I...

Staff were very nice and helpful. The design elements were fun--in our case a sea motif--but a couple were irritating. Nice view, though not spectacular, from our balcony. Nice large bathroom.

Either our refrigerator was messed up or there was a recording playing on-and-off mimicking wave sounds. Also, a string of lights blinked and could only be stopped by unplugging them. Though we had the junior suite it was still a bit small. The place was a bit noisy.
Despite the negatives it was a very good stay.

As good as ever. The quirky design is warm and entertaining, the rooms are comfortable and although very conveniently located in the heart of Naufplio, the rooms are mostly quiet.
Breakfast is superb and consists of local produce, including cheese and eggs from the owner's cheese farm and hens. Dimitra (the owner) is delightful and very helpful.
This time we were with a group visiting a winery in Nemea (Gaia in Koutsi) and overnighted in Naufplio. Dimitra allowed us to use the downstairs (breakfast room and bar) for a wine tasting without charge.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking Othonos street if you may be disturbed by street noise.
