We have spent one week in this apartment and enjoyed our stay. The apartment and complex are situated in a good location. The staff are excellent and very helpful maintaining the site and rooms to a very high standard. The village and shops are just a short walk away and if you have a lot of shopping the supermarket owners will run you back to the apartment ( check this with reception who will direct you to the right store).

We are currently sitting outside Palataki 1 on the last day of our holiday. The villa is excellent for two people. It is clean and well equipped and the views are excellent, both mountains and sea with no obstructions other than our lemon tree. Kardamyli is friendly and full of lovely places to eat and drink. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the walks from Kardamyli are superb. The staff here have been very pleasant and helpful and we would love to come again.
This is our second visit to Karamyli and Palataki villas. Conveniently situated about a km from the village itself it has sweeping views over the bay towards Kalamata and is nestled amongst olive and citrus trees. Self catering although only on a limited basis since there is no stove or microwave and serviced daily. Accommodation is clean and comfortable although the bathrooms are a little cramped. Family run, Good value for money and Alex is a cheerful and helpful host.
We stayed in an apartment at Palataki and couldn't have loved it more. The apartment was all new inside. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom and spacious balcony with amazing sea view. It's a quiet place, even though it is at the main coastal road. The village of Kardanili super nice to walk around. Many nice restaurants, nice (pebble) beaches, kind people.
We stayed in Palataki 2, which is a small but adequate studio with a lovely, clean pool and private terrace overlooking wonderful views of Kardamyli, the mountains and the sea. Very cramped kitchen corner so we didn't attempt much cooking. It's a 10 minute walk up from the village (lots of good restaurants and bars), which was fine for us but might put off some - also less than confident swimmers need to be aware that the pool is 1.9m deep throughout. There were cleaning issues when we arrived, including broken glass and mouse droppings on the patio, plus a lack of cutlery, cleaning cloths etc, all of which were addressed after we complained, but unfortunately not without an argument with the James Villas agent whose first response to every point was that it was not his fault - very poor attitude. However after this hiccup we he had a lovely time in this beautiful area. We had previously stayed in Palataki 3, which has a separate bedroom and bigger terrace, and is probably worth the extra money.
We stayed in Palatiki Villa 1 and got a last minute deal through James Villas. Great pool & area around the pool, accommodation inside is perfectly adequate for a week. Villa & pool were cleaned during week. Less than 10 mins walk down to Kardamili, a lovely town, and the walk back is slightly uphill but no issue if you are of normal health.
