Hotel with small rooms which seem as if nothing has changed from the 70's! It needs urgent renovation or at least some repairs in basic things. The pool was big and well situated but dirty with insects, leaves etc.The only good thing was breakfast, which offered a variety of local goods and was served outside in a balcony facing the sea. If the price was under 50 Euros (in high season) for a double room with breakfast, it could be considered as a possible choise for two days, in an area that prices are generally high for the Greek standards. We asked for a triple room, we paid 80 Euros for a night with breakfast on 6th of August 2013, which could be OK if the room wasn't as you can see in the photos..!

The room was too small. The toilet flush was leaking and the bathroom had water on the floor from it.We saw some dead bugs on the walls, really big bugs. The only good thing is the view but the balkonies were too small. We didn't spend the night there. We lost the 160 euros of payment for the two days but we found another hotel with half the money per day and double cleaning services!

Room Tip: It really needs innovation!Keep away until they do it!

We spent one night at this hotel & found it very adequate, particularly for the price E60 per double room with breakfast.

It is situated on the far end of the beach outside Kardamili & hence was very quiet.

We received a warm welcome & that warm hospitality continued throughout our stay.

The rooms were very clean, but in need of renovation, but as the Greek economic position is so dire at present, we understand & are sympathetic as to why this has not happened.

Our rooms had beautiful series's and the swimming pool looked exceptionally clean, although time unfortunarely did not permit a dip.

The breakfast was the most memorable part of the stay, as the manageress had made a selection of local specialities, including croissants (home made) stuffed with apples, a local cheese & fennel pie & freshly squeezed orange juice. Forget cereals, you can have that anywhere, this was a Greek special breakfast.

This is like stepping back in time, but that is its attraction.

We disagree strongly with previous comment regarding this lady's physical appearance, which is really rude. She had a warm smile, was extremely helpful and kind to us and was certainly clean in appearance.

Thank you Kardamali Hotel, we enjoyed our short stay with you.

Hotel is located 1.5 km far from Kardamili village, and is near the seaside (600m from Ritsa, a pebble beach which is really nice to visit). Location is quiet and not too far from the village centre, hence it's ok. The hotel is basically built in the 1980s, and it desperately needs a renovation (actually was amazed our shower had a cabin, as not all rooms have). Rooms are average to small, average clean, and doors cannot properly filter noise. Wooden doors heading to the balcony are hard to shut, hence they also make a noise when you try to shut them (and you hear everybody else's attempt too!). Free Wifi works only at the main lobby and not on rooms. Breakfast has some local flavor (local sweets -diples etc) but misses basic stuff (cereals, toasted bread etc.). However, it is fair to say that breakfast has improved compared to older reviews seen. This is a family run restaurant, but unfortunately the lady that runs it makes the best to ruin any favourable impressions (she does not look clean, she smiles with a fake smile etc and she tries to explain how everything works with too many words (to tourists speaking the same language - greek!). All in all, it all comes down to the price. I read a review from someone that paid EUR 90 per night and was complaining it was not worth it. Couldn't agree more! We paid EUR 60 per night (including breakfast) and are not sure yet if it was worth it. My advice is check the area for other options first, and if you are on a strict budget call directly to the hotel for an offer. For a few nights sleep it's not that bad, but I would not really recommend it.

Room Tip: There are some bungalows available that have been built more recently, that provide larger rooms, la...

The hotel is located near Kardamili Beach, one of the beautiful beach of the Mani in Peloponnes.
In front of the hotel the sea is accessible only with some difficulties, and you have to go 150-200 meters south to reach the beach.
Good swimming-pool available.
The rooms are quite small, not very clean and they need some more maintenance.
The whole structure should need some renovation.
Good service with nice managers.
Cheap prices and breakfast just sufficient.
