The first time I rent a room at O Kipos tis Skardamoulas, better known as Kostas’, was exactly 24 years ago. Since I probably came again for about a dozen and half sojourns, either with family or friends. The comfortable rooms were early fitted with new useful improvements, to become studios fully equipped. Besides an always warm welcome, not to say friendly, my best pleasure were both inside, with quiet nights followed by a breakfast on the balcony looking at the Taygetos mountain, or outside, enjoying to visit the pleasant and animated village of Kardamily, or to walk through the olive grooves and the phrygana, full of colored flowers and aromatic plants all year long. Finally, from May to September, one cannot avoid to take a dinner under the orange trees of the Kipos, certainly the best Estiatorio in the city. Peace, equanimity and daily pleasures, that is what you will surely get at Kostas and family’s Domatia.

We've stayed here a couple of times. Comfortable, clean and affordable, with friendly staff. Most rooms have a decent balcony looking towards the jetty and down to the sea, or over towards the church. Residents get a discount in the restaurant, which itself is pretty good. Try the kleftiko.

Myself and my husband found Kardamyli in 2009 when traveling around Peloponnese. We have stayed in Skardamoula's by accident and loved the place a lot. Friendly owners, clean studios and discount in their restaurant. We returned in 2011 and place has not lost its charm. Truly recommend. I loved it and looking forward to come back again.
