Owners Eri and Fanis greet you with a warm welcome and menus, and while you're deciding, bread and olives are brought to the table to get your taste buds tingling. They provide an extensive menu of traditional Cretan dishes plus plainer fare for those who prefer it, including a good selection of vegetarian food. Over our several visits we had fresh fish grilled, pasta, risotto, chicken and swordfish souvlakis, and it was all first class. And the meal is rounded off with a complimentary raki or limoncello plus homemade panne cotta that's the best ever! Add in the stunning sunset view and this is one restaurant we always visit over and over when we're in Plakias.
