“First class”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Had to spend a night at a Munich airport hotel on a business trip, got the recommendation from Tripadvisor. Very authentic Indian restaurant offering a very warm welcome from friendly and professional staff. Food was excellent, tasty and more than we could eat. I will definitely use the restaurant again and would advise curry lovers to give it a go.

Thanks to all!

“Indian close to MUC Airport”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

Set in a small shop/industrial complex on the edge of town. Rama is really easily accessible from the ring road and close to the airport. The friendly staff are attentive without being a nuisance. Menu dish tittles are in English with the details in German, but if you eat indian food regularly you can decipher what's what. I had Dry Chili Chicken and Lamb Dopiaza described as "scharf" (hot). It was really quite mild though, but that tends to be the case in Germany. Meat was tender enough and portion size sufficient if you have a starter too. All in all an reasonable Indian. For the best Indian in this area though you head to Grunwald (Indian @ the cross in the middle of the village)

“Good food and good atmosphere”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

This restaurant was nice surprise, we were on our way to Munich aiport and decided to find restaurant close by and with help of GPS we found Rama in Freising. We like indian food and the food at Rama was very good, big portions and our servant was very joyful and pleasant.

“Not really good”
Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

Been there a few times and was always quite disappointed. Some dishes are fine but I had several times really low quality meat (both beef and lamb). Atmosphere is ok but service is generally on the cold side. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
