We've stayed here three times in about six years. It used to be a busy hotel, with bus tours. This time it was virtually empty.
In our first room, the toilet was broken. They sent up someone who spoke no English so we went down to ask for another room. This time the toilet worked, but was finicky. But we no longer had access to a fridge. When we said the other room had an unlocked fridge, we were told "not allowed". The shower was really disgusting with black mold all over the door. Even if it had been clean a large person would have difficulty getting in. The TV is old and small and has only one English channel.
The restaurant had a limited menu and was only serving schnitzel by 7 p.m. on a Sunday, and they tried to charge us 5 euros for coffees that we didn't have when we were checking out Eventually they said no problem, but it makes you wonder if you didn't put up a fight...
I suspect they've cut back because they weren't busy and it really shows. It needs a complete overhaul.

I visited this hotel with my Husband last year and really enjoyed ourselves. We only stayed for 3 nights although this gave us enough time to see the hotel and area. There are good links to the centre of Munich from here, the train station being only a short walk away. The food was amazing! The staff were really friendly and spoke good English. The only dowside was the size of our room. They also put us in a room which had 2 single beds as opposed to one double. This was ok as we just pushed them together although it was inconvinient to have to do that. All in all a good stay. Would recommend to people who wanted to experience a hotel that wasn't in the city centre and somewhere a little more rural.

20 minute walk to train, 40 minute train ride to get to Oktoberfest. The rooms are tiny, very old and stinky. The town smells like cow pastures. The staff does not speak English and their default answer to everything is NO! Don't waste your time and money.

Depending on your purpose, this hotel can be very nice. Location is not good. Its in middle of no where, there is a bus that goes couple of times an hour to S bahn or Ubahn but it takes some time. You can walk to Sbahn which takes you 30 min. Unless you have a car, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I ran every morning, around the area. Its got pretty nice view and route for runners. In the hotel there is also a fitness room (treadmill and elliptical) with one TV in a small room, and also SAUNA room (max. 3-4 people). This was very nice.
The room was cleaned everyday and towels were also given everyday but I dont think they vacuumed often.
Breakfast was not so good, because of the slow service. There were always something missing and we always had to ask for it. The waitress were paranoid and we were always waiting. The variety is not so much as well.

For a traveller like me, who likes to get off a plane, rent a vehicle at the airport, make a one night stopover and continue the journey by car, the Best Western Grand City in Neufahrn, approximately 15 minutes away from Munich airport and conveniently close to the A9 and A92 motorways is a nice hotel and good value for money. It is probably one of Munich’s airport hotels most reasonably priced. My room was quiet, with a comfortable bed, a small bathroom and satellite TV. The hotel provides complimentary wireless internet (essential for me) in the rooms at a reasonable speed and free parking. On the way back from Austria to Munich airport, I stayed again at the hotel for two days and took the train at the nearby S-Bahn station (20 minute walk) to get to Munich downtown and avoid parking issues. The surroundings are quiet ensuring a restful stay. The staff are helpful and courteous.

Room Tip: Rooms to the back are quiet
