We have visited Sommieres for the last 6 years, we have been to this restaurant on a few occasions in the past, last year it was closed so we assume it has new owners.
This visit was on a Tuesday night at the end of April 2013. We arrived at about 7.45p and were nicely welcomed. On the way to our table, we walked passed the open kitchen, always nice to have the confidence in showing the chefs at work. There was another couple already seated and a steady troop of people going upstairs to a party (we neither heard the party or did it delay our meal). The menu presented to us was the a la carte and had 5 to 6 choices per course, if you had all three courses the cost was 33 Euros. Shortly before 9.00pm the restaurant was full and just had a great atmosphere. The food served was of a very high standard and the service matched. The restaurant is located in the corner of the open car park, adjacent to the river.
Would I go back? Yes without a doubt!!
