“Lovely trip”
Reviewed July 20, 2014

The views were amazing as the weather was good, the service was quick and reasonably priced. My son loved the ride up the mountain then up again in the cable car.

“A definite must-do”
Reviewed July 16, 2014

Absolutely brilliant. We took the funicular railway and both cable cars. The views were absolutely stunning, and awe-inspiring. The "drop" below the cable cars was awesome. Felt the restaurant was a little uninspiring, but the menu was in German which I don't speak. Some of the meals that came out looked quite nice, but I have no idea what the people were eating! This was mid-season, so perhaps more gets added as the season gets even better.

“Fabulous Views of Seefeld”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

We have just returned from our 29th holiday at Seefeld, these covering both summer and winter vacations. A "must do" on each holiday has been a trip on the Bergbahn (mountain railway) to the Rosshutte which is the middle station and where refreshments can be obtained.

From here, it is possible to take two cable cars ~ the first one up to the Seefelderhof Mountain and the second across the valley (a pretty "hairy" experience ~ not for the faint hearted) to the Harmelekopf Mountain. On clear days, the views of Seefeld and its plateau from these three vantage points are fabulous, if not breath-taking, and a dream for photographers to get that special shot!!

In the summer, the Bergbahn runs every 15 minutes, and being a pulley type system, there are two trains joined together by a common cable so as one goes down, the other comes up. passing each other on the halfway crossover. In the winter months, these operate on a flexible timetable, virtually on demand, in order to take skiers and snowboarders to their starting points.

A visit to the Rosshutte on a fine day is an exhilarating experience and not to be missed!

“Remarkable Rosshute”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

We bought an inclusive ticket which covered the funicular, both cablecars and coffee and cake in the restaurant. It was GREAT value. Our little one really enjoyed the wonderful play area at the top of the funicular. He'd have happily stayed there all day...until he saw our cakes!

“Spent most of the day up on the mountain”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

We took the Rosshutte up to the top of the train station. From there, we took the gondola to the top and hiked the ridge line up to the cross at the top of the mountain. The views were spectacular. It's a great place for a picnic. From there, we took the gondola back down to the top of the Rosshutte and then the second gondola across a gorge to another station and then hiked back down to Seefeld from there. Depending on your pace, it will take anywhere from 90 - 120 minutes. What a tremendous experience to get away from the crowds for awhile.
