“Great location and great service”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

We really loved this location we had a high so we headed absolutely splendid view over the lake and stayed two days.

The property has charm and character.

We found the staff exceptionally helpful willing and able. They even went out of their way when we relieving very early in the morning to prepare for us a packed breakfast at no charge.

We have no complaints.

It is quite clearly not a five-star hotel and I imagine that when the air conditioning is on it is not particularly quiet as they did look rather old and dilapidated. This is however a character hotel a lot of charm and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful as I have already said

The hotel is right on the lake and has wonderful views. There is a balcony running the length of the hotel and we sat there watching the sunset and it was beautiful. The rooms are large, well furnished and clean. Breakfast was good. We had dinner which was also good.

It is very well located.

Best of the hotels in the center of the city, but average overall. Great vegetarian food. Needs some general upkeep and better cleaning of the rooms but passable. Views of the lake are unparalleled but due to its location a bit noisy. Nice market just outside and very friendly staff

Room Tip: Corner room with balcony. May be noisy due to pilgrim drums but nice views

Beautiful hotel in wonderful location right on the lake. We stayed in a super deluxe room which was very comfortable and clean. The entry to the room is from a balcony running the full length of the hotel with a beautiful view of the lake. The food was good and the staff were extremely friendly.

Room Tip: Definitely get a lake-facing room.

Pushkar is aptly described as " Still Waters, Sun deep"...The Pushkar palace hotel( and pls dont confuse it with pushkar lake Palace) is very strategically located near the lake where one can sit on the shore, take walk along the shore, watch the sun set etc. The Hotel is right beside the market and in between some good restaurants. The service is good and you can negotiate some good rates if you jut happen to 'drop by'. Overall a good place to stay and if i may, the ONLY place to enjoy Pushkar !

Room Tip: Take the corner rooms overlooking the lake .

I am in Pushkar to attend the weddings of friends and famly I made over my previous seven visits. My friend arranged my stay at the Mama Luna Hotel. I checked in December 1 and plan to leave December 30. The rooftop restaurant is an outstanding feature of the hotel. It is decorated in psychedelic art but also has numerous green plants, bright coloring. The service was excellent and always attentive my needs. One must let the wait staff know they are present sinetunes, but overl-all the service was excelent. I enjoyed evenings before sunset on the rooftop. It is also kite-flying time and there were exciting contests on top.
My room was fine--I came and went as I wanted.

Only stayed here one night due to imminant arrival of the camel festival but memorable by the fact that every time you went in or out of the hotel you were saluted by the doorman. The hoel had an excellent view of lake. The room was clean and well appointed. THe bed was quaint and tall and comfortable. There were tea and coffee makings and a safe in the room and a tv with limited chice of channels.Didnt use the restraunt in evening as got caught up in activities in the town. The breakfast wasnt memorable though. The hotel is on the banks of a small lake which you can walk around. The shopping area and busy part of the town is situated to the left of the hotel where you can get free wifi and lots of places to change money at good rate and lots of shops but be prepared to haggle. This is a holy city but beware of all the scams by false priests who can be threatening wanting money off you. Pushkar is popular for backpackers and there is an atmosphere in town to match.

Room Tip: The rooms were all appealing with views of the lake from balcony, i suppose higer and in middle of h...
