Many people believe this is the only temple in the word dedicated to Brahma, but that is not actually true as there others in India. Still it is quite rare to find one and this is the most famous so it does have a specific significance for Hindus.

We were told no bags were allowed in so took in it turns to visit rather than leave our belongings in the lockers outside. Also they say no photos but the Indian visitors were all snapping away on their cameraphones!

The temple structure itself is nothing special (there are far more impressive ones around Pushkar), but still interesting for a brief visit to see the hoardes of local pilgrims wanting their blessing from Brahma - there is also an underground chamber with another shrine which I think many people miss.

It is the only Brahma temple in the world.
In Hindi serials, Brahma is always portrayed as a old man, the idol is a young Brahma.
Special attractions: Hanuman carving in silver behind the idol. There are monkeys in the premises. It is considered very lucky if a monkey grabs and eats your prasad. (This happened to me). People believe that the God himself has accepted your prasad.

The monkeys are also well behaved, me and my parents all had prasad in our hands..but it took only mine. When my father tried to take it back/ an old lady vendor hit a monkey, that time also the monkey very calmly ran away, and did not attack anyone.

"ONE AND ONLY ONE TEMPLE OF LORD BRAHMA IN THE WORLD". This statement itself creates Curiosity and Anxiety in everybody's mind. It's a wonderful temple of Lord Brahma which really makes you energetic. After getting the darshan of Lord Brahma and visiting the Pushkar KUND, it feels quite peaceful and satisfying. However, one important thing I would like to share with everyone which is that if you are travelling for the first time, make sure you do not buy anything from the shops and also do not enter into any conversations with guides or priests near the temple. Priests and guides may mislead you with various things and information and then may ask for a high amount at the end. Please avoid this. There are many many foreigners travelling to the Lord Brahma temple throughout the year due to its significance. The Charges for Camel rides are too high at Puskar. Overall, it was a peaceful and satisfactory experience at Pushkar with my family.(Travelled:-29th January)
