Many people believe this is the only temple in the word dedicated to Brahma, but that is not actually true as there others in India. Still it is quite rare to find one and this is the most famous so it does have a specific significance for Hindus.
We were told no bags were allowed in so took in it turns to visit rather than leave our belongings in the lockers outside. Also they say no photos but the Indian visitors were all snapping away on their cameraphones!
The temple structure itself is nothing special (there are far more impressive ones around Pushkar), but still interesting for a brief visit to see the hoardes of local pilgrims wanting their blessing from Brahma - there is also an underground chamber with another shrine which I think many people miss.
