We had a comfortable stay at the third eye for a couple of nights during December. The owner Mr Ravi Jain is cooperative, we arrived by train and he ensured the pickup as well as the drop. Even the driver (Amit) who picked us was very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious and also there is lovely garden to enjoy the warmth of sun during the winters. The food is very good especially Mediterranean cuisine!

Certainly we will be staying at the same place during next Pushkar trip!!!

I have been in love with pushkar but, I believe more because of this hotel..! Everyone is professional and at the same time helpful. They respect your privacy, love pets, adjust and they helped us find a special birthday cake at the last moment..! I must have stayed there at least 5-6 times, and every time it felt as serene as ever.

This place was very different to anywhere else we stayed in India. There was a lovely communal garden area where it was nice to sit in the sun and enjoy the good food.

The room was small but clean and the enough blankets to keep warm at night. My other half got pretty ill (not from the food at The Third Eye I must add here!!). We were due to check out in the morning but they kindly extended the check out time so that he could recover and checked in offering advice and help to make him feel better. They went above and beyond giving us bananas for him to eat on the train to Udaipur.

The only reason why we did not give them 5 stars (it was a long debate) was because we had booked a deluxe room and it was only when we checked out that they admitted it was a standard room - they charged us the right price but we did think this was a little cheeky.

IT is a five minute walk to the main areas.

Very good and large room. Quietly situated, easy to walk to the lake in a few minutes. During the day you can have your meals in the lovely large garden. Also a nice place to relax. During winter, when it gets a little colder in early morning and evening, you can eat in a covered place at low tables, very cosy. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes and delicious fresh fruitjuices. They also serve Israeli dishes and specially the pitabread is a welcome supplement. The owner, Ravi, takes care of you. When he discouvered that one of us was sick (I even could not eat plain rice), he brought some bananas, adviced papaja juice and gave us a heater for our room. He said: you should not get cold! I was feeling better soon. Thank you so much!

We travelled to Pushkar over the new year and stayed for the first time at The Third Eye hotel. The place is run by a really nice guy, Ravi, his brother and his Israeli wife. They are awesome, the rooms are really clean and the food is good. Try the pumpkin soup, great for a cold wintery evening!!

Room Tip: Upstairs was good for us!

As I went inside the beautiful garden I felt something but when I opened the door to my room I knew- it's exactly what I need.
Clean big wonderful rooms with great bathroom and toilet. Tasteful and simple and mostly gives homy feeling. 10 minutes walk from the lake and market. Please do!
