“Very nice Hotel”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Our stay was very pleasant at this hotel, it's a 10 minute walk to the lake, and a further bit more to get to the Camel Fair, rather than that it is fine, the rooms are good. It has a nice garden, and also nice breakfast.

Me and my husband we had a very nice stay at this hotel. It was like an oasis of relaxation in a very crowded fair time Pushkar. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly.
I would recommend this to everybody!

I really don't understand how this place got so many good reviews - it was the most dirty room we have had to stay in during our 2 month trip in India. The room is large but completely empty except for a tiny bench, which meant that our clothes were kept on the floor, mixing with hair from whoever stayed here last. The bathroom had not been cleaned in a month - there were toothpaste and soap stains everywhere, and the toilet stank of wee (not nice when you have to shower in the same space).
The restaurant staff were very friendly but the owner spoke to us ONCE in the entire 4 night stay - when he presented the bill. This is despite the fact that we were often milling around in the common area. To top it all off, the doors squeek like crazy, which kept waking us up at night. I really don't recommend this place.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere eslse

Be prepared for a few oddities at third eye. We had made reservations for two rooms for one night. But when we reached the hotel, they told us they had just one room booked for us, this after they had confirmed the booking via message. But nice it was just 4 girls we agreed upon sharing one room. But I guess that was not be and the guys at the hotel asked us to wait till 8-8:30 by which time on of the rooms would b empty. We had reached the place at 7 and we waited till 9. When we asked the management what was happening they told us that since the checkout time is 11, no rooms would be available. All of this when our bookings had been confirmed. All over a bad start to a much awaited trip. They should make the terms of booking clearer at the time of booking as this amounts to cheating. Hope they don't do this to others. O please confirm your booking details and terms before coming or you will be left hanging liked us.

Room Tip: Just make sure your room is available when you get there.

We stayed here last week and enjoyed our time here. The room that we had was basic and the bathroom was adequate enough for the 2 nights that we stayed. The water temperature was ok. The bright colours of the accomodation really added to the chilled out vibe that the place was giving off. Everybody there was very relaxed including the staff who seemed to really enjoy socialising with the guests. The owners organised an excellent camel ride for us as well as an early morning taxi to take us to the train station.
The only comment I would make is that the accomodation caters mainly for Israeli travellers and at the time we were there there were many Israeli travellers there and this did make us feel a little left out being from the UK. This, however should not put you off the relaxing time you will have there. If we had longer in Pushkar we would have no doubt tried to get on with the groups and have tried to have got to know them.

i was in Pushkar to do some research for the cultural exchange program which we are offering and i came across this place and like how its located away from the crowed areas and peaceful garden restaurant. They also have a nice on the floor Indian style sitting arrangement which is good for the other traveler to talk with and share your ideas about the city and cultural.
i would like to go there again and i would recommend this place to everyone who is for a longer time in Pushkar so that they can chill.
