“Excellent - your Indian home”
Reviewed February 26, 2010

Having just stayed for the third time in 2 years tells all. A totally relaxing experience amid the hussle and bussle of India. Vicky and Benny are a laugh a minute and cannot do enough to may your stay fun and comfortable. Cleanliness is a priorty and the rooms and bathrooms are large and bright. and the restaurant serves delicious food (be it indian, western and fabulous safe salads) which you can enjoy while relaxing on lounges on the rooftop watching the sunset or watching Bollywood movies. It is just a short stroll to centre away from all noise. Rates are excellent for such a good quality, beautifully decorated hotel. We will certainly return and are assured we will be welcomed like family.

This lovely hotel felt like an oasis for me. The room was simple but it didnt matter because the welcome was warm, the staff more than delightful and felt like good friends within hours. The rooftop dome lounge gave that feel of opulence and the food was delightful. It was great to be far away enough from the madness of the town centre to feel relaxed and rest peacefully, yet be able to take a gentle stroll into town to drink in the age and beauty of the city.

I really loved it here. often day dream about my few days there (more so than any other part of my trip around India) now that i am home, recommend it to my friends and family and plan to go back as soon as I can.

At the time of the Mela, Pushkar doesn't let you relax. Speakers spread around the small city's main concourse remind you that God is deaf and keep blaring devotional songs (with poor melodies) 24 hours. It was thus a relief to find a hotel a kilometer away from the market - a true sanctuary from this cacophony. And there was more on offer. A cafe with some amazing trance and ambient beats, quirky, reclusive tourists and some hard-core bikers from all over the world. An impromptu evening spent with an Australian and an Irishman was just one sign of the friendly ambience of this quaint hotel. Expect laid-back service unless you tip the guys in advance. The view from the first floor is very refreshing. A place to enjoy some peace, write or paint.

This hotel was great! It was decorated so well in true Indian style. On top of the lovely rooms and huge bathrooms, the staff was also wonderful!!! The boys there have very nice and friendly attitudes. They also have a great Indian film collection, at night after having some good Indian food on the rough you can watch movies on a big screen. I was on a 22 day tour and it was by far the favorite place I stayed. Stay there, you won't regret it!

The hotel feels like an Indian wedding hall because of the constant noise from the restaurant music systems. The noise from the staircases can also be heard in the rooms. The restaurant food sucks and on top of it you have to climb a few floors to get to the restaurant. The hotel is also a long hike from the Pushkar lake and the temples. The quality of the bed and the bathroom was OK.

I stayed at Kishan Palace for 2 nights as part of a group tour.I would have to say this was one of my favorite hotels out of the whole tour. The staff were great and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. My roommate and I even got a room with a balcony which was a bonus! The rooftop resteraunt and terrace made it an even better location with great food and even a selection of bollywood movies to watch!I loved the location because it was far enough away from the city center that it was nice and quiet, but close enough to walk to.Plus,at the top of the hotel, you get a great view at sunrise or sunset! The brothers who run the hotel are great and they are very accomidating.Be prepared to make friends with them because they are great to talk to!I'm planning on coming back to visit Pushkar in the near future and look forward to staying at Kishan Palace.
