We only stayed one night. The place was tired and drab and the food wasn't very good. However, the staff were friendly. We hired bikes from them - and they were in a pretty poor condition, but it was a fun thing to do. Not somewhere we would stay again.

We were told to stay in the Maharaja suite here, and I'm sure that would have been amazing. We wanted to have one night in India to splurge and sleep in a palace! In the end that was booked so we took the Marharini suite. It was totally fine (and considering it was IR 4000 including breakfast, it was a lot better than other places we stayed) but it just wasn't the lap of luxury I was envisioning!
The room was very clean, with 2 modern aircon units and a modern tv, but it was literally just off the dining room, so it didn't feel that private. The bathroom was really tired and dated. The shower was rubbish and the lovely marble bath was covered in accumulated scalelyness.
I wish there was some kind of outdoor eating area, as the dining room feels very formal and quiet. There's not really anywhere to just sit and chill out. But it is a super amazing building, you are truly sleeping in a palace, and it doesn't feel too touristy or flashy like some of the other palace hotels we saw in Rajasthan.

Room Tip: Do the Maharaja suite if you can!!

The location is right in the heritage site and has good connectivity to all the places of attractions... do visit the sound and light show in the evenings... Live music during dinner was fabulous...
The overall experience was little low key but but the service was good and turned out to be value for money....

The Palace was was built in the ancient times hence we were prepared to stay at a place without modern amenities and since the weather was not so warm at that time we nejoyed our stay.
The rooms were large and Royale and airy hence it was all good.
