We want to thank Robert - so helpful!!! and to the staff at Nkuringo Walking Safaris!!!
Couldn't ask for a better stay!
Food was delicious, clean rooms, very friendly staff who we loved talking with and sharing stories! There was one night, I had to stay in bed - bad knee and they were so kind to bring me my 3 course meal in bed! So sweet!
Would go back agian in a heart beat!!!

Thank you
Candice & Matt
xoxo

My friend and I stayed in the Gorilla Camp twice, 2010 and 2011. This experience changed our lives. We tracked the gorillas, a short distance from camp, hiked to Lake Mutanda, tracked golden monkeys and chimpanzees. Everything is realtively close to Camp. The owner is always
upgrading the facility, adding amenities, but keeping things basic so your experience is authentic. The staff is very responsive to questions and concerns, the food is great, and the comeraderie with other visitors only adds to the experience. I should add my friend and I are in our 60's and felt very safe even in this remote area. This place must be on your bucket list!

Room Tip: The cottages are perfect with bathroom ensuite.

Lots of perks: people were friendly, views great, food good, rooms clean and comfortable, easy access to gorilla trekking, bottomless coffee (that was not instant!) available anytime, eco-friendly, etc. The only drawback was that the bathrooms were a fair ways from some of the rooms and the nighttime walks were cold! Bring warm clothes. It gets chilly up here!

We walked there from Buhoma (and spotted a few Gorillas on the track) and it was like coming home, so welcoming and warm were the staff and people of this community. And the facilities are top notch not five star but the pride and attention to detail is obvious everywhere. We upgraded to the cottage and it was 5 star. Food was great, staff great, Location great... do your self a favour and stay there.

Room Tip: All are good but the bigger cottage is sensational.
