I have not been to Tony's in a while, but it has always been on amongst my favourite restaurants. The shopping centre where Tony's is situated has been renovated and the parking is much better.
We ordered the first round of drinks and waited quite a long time, the second round of drinks took even longer. But the Peroni on tap was ice cold and worth the wait. We ordered starters and it arrived quickly, but we opted to go elsewhere for main course as it was just too noisy in the restaurant. We will return as the food is still great, but our next visit will be at a different time when it is not as noisy.
The interior of Tony's has also undergone some changes and it looks good. It is still a busy restaurant and it is nice to see some continuity - most of their waitering staff are permanent and know the menu by heart. The manager on duty last night was the waiter who served us on our first date eight years ago!! It leaves one with a warm and fuzzy feeling to see how their staff has progressed.
