“Very tasty”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Seaforth. Although it was quiet (in the middle of winter), the vibe was still cosy with a fire burning in the big fireplace heating up the room. They've got a beautiful view of False Bay and is situated on the beach. Happy hour between 5pm and 6pm everyday on their cocktails (half price) and the Chocolate Martini is definitely a must. For your main you can try the Karoo Game Potjie, it is just DIVINE!!!

“I like it. Good atmosphere and good food.”
Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

We went in winter so opening hours were hit and miss. To be expected. But when it was open the decor, setting and food were top notch. Probably a tourist place, but that's OK. Was just down their road so convenient for us. Priced fairly and the all you can eat prawns are the best!

“Cosy with great food on a cold windy June day”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Yes, we were on a day trip to the Cape of Good Hope! We (small group of 5) stopped in to Seaforth for a late lunch after an early start from Cape Town and were starving. The soup bisque was only ok- very strange taste. Two of us ordered the crayfish- absolutely hit the spot- with the garlic or lemon butter- wanted to order 2! The others order the fish and it was very tasty. Enjoyed with a glass of wine and warm surroundings. Service was appropriately timed - not too long and not too quick! Waitresses were attentive. We were just finishing when a large number of people turned up so unsure if this would have impacted on our service. Two shared a desert of lemon tart which was very tasty and finished off with coffee - looking over the bay which was wet, cloudly, windy and very cool! We felt very cosy and didn't want to leave.

“Dinnertime is superb for food, service and view at sunset + free wi fi, too!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013 via mobile

Lovely at wintry sunset. Quite a large place, indoors, a patio and small bar lounge area with fireplace. Would not compete with coaches disgorging folks at lunchtime. Wed. night in winter had five tables. Enjoyed the chicken liver peri peri and fresh seafood curry- fish, mussel, calamari and prawn. Waitress very helpful and hostess stopped by to check on us two tired Americans. Line fish of the day and side salad also fine. Garlic dressing fresh. Wine by glass was also right on. Desserts yummy and all in all very reasonably priced by San Francisco hometown comarison.
