“Penguins”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013

After paying the fee to go in you walk down and see the penguins. You stare at them and they entertain you. They are fun to watch. It would have been nice to have a guide explaining say every hour a small commentary of history and such about the penguins.

“Nice penguins but an average experience!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2013

This is must visit for visitors who want to see penguins up close. However, it is a disappointment for those who wish to touch and handle penguins. There are two paths that lead up to the place where the penguins are basking in the sun. The African penguins are quite small in size but are extremely cute. There is a curio shop inside the Boulders area but it's quite expensive (like most curio shops at major attractions). My child did quite enjoy it!

“Cute African Penguins”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2013

Yep, the penguins are very cute. There always seems to be plenty there, so you won't miss out. They're in the sand and in the water.
Well worth a look if you are in Cape Town.

“A Good Spot for Penguin Sightings!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

If you have never seen penguins in their natural habitat, this is a nice place to visit. I must say that I have been to South Georgia where there were over ten thousand King penguins and 50 people. Here there were thousands of people and 50 penguins.

“Very nice but if you miss it, it is not a problem”

This is a very nice place for a nice hike but it is not so special that this needs to be done. It is on your way to cape point so might as well go
