“Great local flavour”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

A good local restaurant with friendly staff, a very attentive manager, good food, and obviously a lot of regular customers. Our waitress was very nice, and the children loved the dough and cookie cutters they were given to play with.
We will certainly be back next time we stay here.

“Best fish in Simons town”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We are lucky enough to own a flat in Simons town and have been visiting for many years. Although the management of this place does change from time to time the food does not. This past visit, in Feb 2013, we ate there several times and had the best line fish of our entire stay. The chips and vegetables are just great - pencil thin chips and delicious creamed spinach and tasty squash. It is one of the few places that gives free wi-if in the town and if you park outside in the street your car is always looked after.

“Dinner is ready”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Simon's Town can be daunting at night, however you can always seek refuge in this cosy italian style restaurant, most importantly opened til late hours.

All types of food, but Salads and large pizzas are the perfect dinner/supper.

“Best Pizza in the Cape!”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Great friendly people with good service. Looked after us well. Shared the recommended calamari to start. Tender, deep fried strips. Had a pizza each, Suzi ,Jimmy and a Capo pizza. The pizzamaker rolls the base while you watch and the pizza's are woodfired baked. An experience to be repeated! Prices are excellent.

“Tourist restaurant with reasonable food”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Café Pescado has a convenient location right in the city center of Simons town. The food however, is no more than average. The second time I came here I ordered calamari as a starter which, came with a huge amount of rice and just a little calamari. The main courses are ok but, are also served with more rice than actual meat or fish. The service and atmosphere are quiet good and the restaurant has a decent bar. The live music on certain evenings is also a nice touch. This restaurant is nice for people, especially tourists, who don’t like to be adventurous when it comes to food.
