“Great fish and chips”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

This is one of my favourite spots for fish and chips. The venue is unsophisticated, but has a charm all of its own. Great views of the small harbour. The fish is very fresh and fried on order. You can either eat on-site or take away. Food is also very reasonably priced.

“Get the Kingclip”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Some of the best fish and chips we've ever had. The kingclip though was a revelation. Perfectly cooked, white fleshed, and almost sweet. Bring a bottle of wine and sit outside...a perfect "beachy" lunch experience.

The cook the best fish and it is very fresh. The portion is big too and value for money. It was located at the waterfront and the view is great as well

“Great lunch spot in the center of a very scenic town”
Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

We stopped for lunch in Simon's Town on the way to visit the penguin colony at the Boulders. The town itself was a very scenic spot with interesting
Architecture from the early 20th century. The restaurant had large portions of well cooked varieties of fish such as hake, kingklip and snook. The prices were reasonable and the service was very good. It is a simple place with outdoor and indoor seating and well worth a stop. Their slogan is If you don't eat here we will both starve.

“Great fish and chips”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

The Kingklip fish and chips was the best lunch in a long time. Maybe we were very hungry after our trip to Cape Point and The Cape of Good Hope but even so, the food was great. And the staff were friendly too.
