Great stay. Country setting but close to everything. This small hotel has the look and feel of a B&B. Super friendly front desk staff. Softest towels. Walked up the hill to the James at the Mill restaurant (on site) just to check out the menu. Miles (proprietor and chef) came out to the lobby and walked us through the menu and invited us to happy hour, which was a nice touch. Will stay here again on my next trip to Fayetteville.

Reasonably priced. Beautiful grounds. Enjoyed the complimentary drink served at the Inn's restaurant. Hallway had a little bit of a musty smell but it was not noticeable in the room. The room was well appointed. Upon return to the hotel later that evening I found parking to be a bit problematic - there was not a spot at all close to the entrance to the room. Service at the front desk was excellent.

We stayed for my boyfriends birthday , very clean staff was wonderful .We both love finding out the history of a place and the staff could not have been more courteous and knowledgeable about the Mill and the area. We loved getting up the next morning and wondering thru the garden area and feeding the fish in the Koi pond. We will definitely stay at the Mill again!

We stayed while dropping off our daughter to go to Univ of AR Fayetteville. Our stay was lovely! The whole experience was wonderful - making reservation on the phone, changing from 3 to 2 nights over the phone a few days before arrival, check in (Brad is SO friendly!), the room was really nice, the grounds are beautiful with lots of little waterfalls.
The breakfast was very good, much better than chain hotel's free breakfasts! Healthy food and better selection. I was very happy about this!
My only hesitation w/ recommending it is that everyone else will book it and it'll be harder for me to stay!

Overall, it's still a quaint place to stay, but in general the Inn at the Mill is feeling a bit tired. $230 for one of their "themed" suites is overpriced as they don't appear to have been remodeled or updated in 15 years. Perhaps new tubs/showers, a refrigerator for a bottle of wine, a bigger TV, and maybe just a little updating would be nice. The pillows need replacing - or at least a firmer option. The pillows were so thin felt as though my head was directly on the mattress. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay - it was just a bit pricey and it's just not quite as unique as it once was.

It would be a great place to stay for a sub-$100 regular room. But, for a "couple's getaway", you could probably do better at the Embassy Suites.
