“Must try”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

This is one of those legendary places everyone should try. The fried chicken and spaghetti is amazing. Everything is made in the traditional Tontitown Italian way. The place doesn't look great but that's part of the charm. Men even have to go out back to get to the men's room. Love it!

“Good choice for Italian.”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

Have been to the Venesian Inn many times over the past 40 years. They haven't changed much but have added some items over time. Their steaks are not traditional and are thinner than most but the flavor is outstanding. The homemade rolls are the best I've ever had. Italian dishes are standard but very good. Onion rings have a heavier coating than the ones served at Mama Z's down the road. This restaurant is a must try when in NWA.

“Back for another family experience”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Forty members of our family dined here over the weekend for my Aunts 103rd birthday. The staff were wonderful in coordinating our meals, and the speed at which they served us all was amazing. Thanks so much to your great waitstaff. As far as the quality of the food, well, that is were it is lacking. It is Not the same as it was years ago according to my 93 year old mother...her second time here in two months...the rolls are nothing special anymore, and the mass produced, wilted dressed iceburg salad is terrible. The pasta is ok, but nothing to write home about anymore...too bad they don't step up and change at least the salad. For $14 average price, you would expect a terrific salad and terrific rolls...jazz it up!

This restraunt and food is truly one of a kind. We found it by accident. The food possibly the best anywhere. The staff friendly and fun. The serving size was huge.

“Friendly family place”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Our party of eight went there early on Saturday for dinner, celebrating our mothers..at 103 and 93 years and going. My 93 year old mom used to come here years and years ago with my father when they took classes at War Eagle in the early 70's and the rolls were their favorite...alas...they were not the same as way back when, but she still liked them...she asked for the original recipe, but it died with the owner..too bad...The fried chicken was crunchy and not greasy, the spaghetti sauce was good, and the other family members loved the lasagna, eggplant parm and chicken parmesan as well. The salads need to go though...they might have gone over big 60 years ago when salads were few and far between, but soggy head lettuce with sweet white vinegar was not a bit hit now...at least dress it up with some basil, garlic and oregano for some flavor...that would not break the bank..all in all they had a very good time, and our waitress was wonderful...thank you..
