“BUSY”

The food was good but if the parking lot is full you may need to wait for a table or sit in the isle. Not a calming place to eat.

“If you like old-fashioned service and home-cooked food..you will love this!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2012

I just "happened" to find Susan's while looking for a place to eat lunch while working in Springdale. I ordered the chicken salad stuffed tomato and it was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. I returned in January 2012 for breakfast and was a little disappointed because the hash browns were cold and not crispy, but the coffee was good and the omlet was great. They only serve breakfast and lunch and only open until 2 pm, but the food is very good. The staff and service is excellent and the atmosphere is casual. I've never been there when it wasn't crowded.

“good downhome cooking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2012

Susan's has a good breakfast menu, which they serve while they are open (they close after lunch, I think 3 pm). Their lunch menu is good, it is home cooking, meatloaf, stuffed peppers, chicken fried steak, etc..... they have good soups, also. The price is good. This place is always packed with locals who have ate here for years. My husband takes his out of town businees contacts here, when they are in town and they always suggest going back, when they are in the area again.

“Homestyle Food With Reasonable Prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2011

Susan's is located right across the street from where we attend Mass, so we frequently go there for breakfast on Sunday mornings after church.

There is nothing fancy about Susan's, however, it is comfortable, quaint and the wait staff is always friendly and helpful. The place is always packed, but the wait time for a table never seems terribly long.

I have had several of the items off of the menu and everything is good. One of my favorite things to order there is the Pig Sooie omelet. It is really delicious and is filled with bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon, onions and bell peppers. It is even better with Susan's homemade salsa over the top. The fried chicken is also very good, as is the chicken-fried-chicken (my daughter's favorite).

Susan's is only open until 2:00 in the afternoon, so be sure to go early in the day, and be hungry. Portions are large.

“Always GOOD!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2011

I Love Susan's!!! The biscuits and gravy are so Good!! Hash browns are perfect! Best breakfast in the entire area in my opinion. The lunches are really good too. I'm always very satisfied when I eat at Susan's. Very cozy atmosphere. The waitresses are always the best. My only complaint is that they are only open till 2:00. I would love If they served dinner too!!! Love this place!!
