“Expensive and small”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

The area is convinient as it is close to many shops and restaurants. However we were not satisfied with the small and stuffy room. They put in an extra bed in the room which gave absolutely no space to walk. The room was literally just three single beds and a desk which you couldn't pull out the chair as there was no space to do so. The doona for the third bed didn't even have a cover. For the price we paid, it was not worth it what so ever.

Part of our 7D Hokkaido tour, Hotel is 10 mins walk to Asahikawa Shopping Street. Abundant fast food and ramen shops around which open till after midnight. There is also a convenient store located around the corner to the shopping street. Japanese standard room - very small to walk around, breakfast is nothing to rave about.

We stayed for 1 night before we made our way to Daisetsuzan National Park. Rooms are small. We have difficultity to find a place to open our 2 sutiacse at once. Pillows are too flat. The little shop at the hotel lobby is tiny but nice and does offer a range of souvenior.

15 mins walk from Asahikawa JR station. Asahikawa Shopping Street is within walking distance. Please be aware the most of the shops in the neighborhood will close before 8:00pm. Some café and resturants would open till 9:00pm or 10:00pm.

While the hotel itself has nothing really amazing to speak of, it is a good place to stay if you want to shop, as the Asahikawa Shopping Street is within walking distance.

The rooms are slightly small and very dull-looking, but it is comfortable and quite clean. Attached bathrooms are standard.

The lobby smelt faintly of smoke because the smoking area was not closed off and was near the reception area.
