“loved every second, well done!!”
Reviewed April 25, 2010

We visited BeWILDerwood on Thursday 22 April and we was in a party of 6 2 children and 4 adults. We loved it and were in there for 4 hours and didnt want to leave but you cant expect them to stay open for us lol.
the food was good , staff were pleasant and helpful .
I didnt think addmission was expensive but we live in Blackpool, Lancashire and everything that entertains children is expensive here .
the 6 and 4 year old enjoyed there day out and slept well that night .I would recommend a visit to anyone and cant wait to go back to Norfolk to go again .
a great big thank you from us in Blackpool to all the staff xx

“Kids enjoyed the park but expensive.....”
Reviewed April 5, 2010

The kids did enjoy the park, I will not take this away from Bewilderwood. The problems being the cost......reading many other reviews it seems im not the only one mentioning this. The kids are basically the same cost as adults, £46 for a family of 4 and we were done in only a couple of hours. The staff were friendly and quite funny.....but the park is way too small for the current admission prices.

I feel to ask £10 per adult is fair but childeren under 14 should be lower than the adults because lets be honest the park is for the children even though they advertise they want all the family to be involved, also it makes inline with every other park including the one only 15 miles away....

“Excellent Fun!”
Reviewed February 22, 2010

Down on a holiday from Aberdeen we took 4 children and 3 adults for a visit.

Although the day was very cold this was forgotten about once everyone was running about! It was arguable who had the most fun - children or adults!

Yes, the entrance fee is expensive but the quality of the equipment and the amount of enjoyment and exercise the children get makes it worth it.

As previously stated the food could be better particularly the sausagerolls which were definately not hot enough. There is no reason why you can't take your own supplies to solve this problems.

The toilet facilities were clean and well stocked.

All the staff, without exception were very friendly and helpful and enjoyed talking about the place.

We were there when it was less busy and I could see how many people could make it a frustrating place for youngsters but there are plenty alternatives if one place is too crowded.

A super day out and definately worth a visit.

Truly wonderful day out for kids (old and young). I "borrowed" a granchild of my neighbours to take and we had a delightful day. So much so that when she took her photos to school, the school booked a class trip. Been back since in the summer (first visit in Feb) and more has been added. Books (written by the owner of and about Bewilderwood) are delightful. Truly a kids paradise, full of puzzles, climbing, exploring and boggles and twiggles! Take a picnic as out of season as only one cafe open (lovely food, locally sourced and but pricey) and u have to get to the back of the park via numerous rope climbs, bridges etc to get there. My only gripe is no smoking area provided but its so wonderful its worth the hike back out to have a quick fix! They do theme days for the kids free. Last time we made a tiara for Mildred the crocklebog, hung it on a tree to dry and collected after more adventures. DO IT NOW!

“Fab fun for kids who are big or small”
Reviewed September 16, 2009

If you're the type of person who likes a day out to be clean, sterile and everything laid on for you then DON'T come to BeWILDerwood, however if like us (4 kids of 51, 39, 6.5 and 5yrs old), you want to use you're imagination and spend your time charging around - you'll LOVE IT!. We visited on the Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, arriving just after 10 am and found parking and admission a breeze. We chose to walk the Treacherous Trail rather than ride, saving that for the end of the day, so didn't have to wait for the boat and went straight to the den building area. We spent a very happy if strenuous hour building a den before tackling the Slippery Slopes, Wobbly Wires and Broken Bridge. Both of my girls coped well with all of the obstacles and because they were able to do everything we did I don't believe that the entry price is unreasonable. (If you have smaller/ younger children the Toddlerwood areas are a real boon too.) We took a packed lunch which saved on costs but did indulge in ice creams and coffee both of which were reasonably priced. Whilst sitting eating lunch we spent a very pleasant 1/2 hour watching the Dads who were screaming louder than their kids on the slides. We did everything at least 2-3 times and even with a 10 min queue for the zip wires had a fantastic day. The highlight for my kids was the story telling in the afternoon which gave us all a chance to catch our breath and my eldest a chance to go up on stage participate. I would heartily recommend BeWILDerwood to any family with a sense of adventure especially those with children of different ages covering a wide span - there really is something for everyone (although you may get a bit grubby!)
