This is just such a picturesque spot with the old bridge and wonderful stream. It is so historic and the food is good and the food items for sale are all just great. We love stopping here any time we come close.

The uniqueness of the Mill is so fascinating. I enjoy the history of it. Love the products that they make there. Delicious! I also like the enamel ware as I have many pieces. They are so much fun to cook in. They make for a pretty summer table!
The Mill is in a beautiful area!

Have been here several times in the past and enjoyed it. Have changed inside of bldg. inside. Where is cage in middle and cloth bags? Holiday and not grinding grain. Not near the regional crafts on second floor. Didn't think food as good either. Most of pictures of original owner Jeanne Caywood gone, so little history left. Seems have new owner. View outside was same and bridge full of tourists. Just not the same. Now a tourist trap.

Not only is this mill a throw-back to a by-gone days but the herons (I think this is what I saw) stabbing up fish as they came over the rock in the creek outside the mill was picturesque and well worth viewing.

A bowl of Cheesey Grits and a rasher of bacon will tide you over till dinner. Nothing fancy, just down home like Ma use'ta make.
Its fun to watch them mill several sizes of grits at the same time, ask the "miller" questions and he has the answers for you.
Step outside and go around to the riverside and see the old grinding wheels.
Take a minute or two and walk out onto the bridge and ask the fishermen some questions. Everywhere you go in Arkansas they use different fishing styles/rigs/baits/techniques.
Kick back and take your time --- that's why you are here.
