Owner description: Our Commitment To You Our flour comes to you the War Eagle way - stone ground slow to preserve all the nutrients and the deep, rich taste. Our farmers are committed to maintaining a natural, organic and Non-GMO environment for growing grain and work hand-in-hand with us to shorten the time between the field, the milling process and your table. Since 1832 to today, we remain committed to you and your family's health. You are our first priority. We provide an array of grains and flours and specialty items. The 2nd floor of the mill is a gift shop and the 3rd floor is our Bean Palace Cafe serving soups, sandwiches and our famous beans and War Eagle Mill cornbread!

The mill is next to a scenic bridge and river. I have actually fished out of the river next to the mill. The food is excellent and they have a nice selection of milled grains to purchase.

It is really pretty and quite tranquill. We walked all around the mill and along the water. Everything looked closed no life at all around the building with the restaurant. The bridge is a neat sight. Well worth the drive to check it out.

We thought this would be an interesting little stop, but it was not worth it. The gift shop was nothing, the corn bread mix was terrible and worst of all the cashier was rude to individuals of "diverse" populations!

had gift shop, restaurant, and what a view. They have a large craft fair in October and May. You can feed the ducks and fish in the war eagle river.

War Eagle is a great place to relax when it isn't the busy season. Inside the mill has some very interesting items, some a little expensive tho. The food, well lets just say, the scenery was better. I would suggest a relaxing afternoon or walk-about at War Eagle.
