Owner description: Our Commitment To You Our flour comes to you the War Eagle way - stone ground slow to preserve all the nutrients and the deep, rich taste. Our farmers are committed to maintaining a natural, organic and Non-GMO environment for growing grain and work hand-in-hand with us to shorten the time between the field, the milling process and your table. Since 1832 to today, we remain committed to you and your family's health. You are our first priority. We provide an array of grains and flours and specialty items. The 2nd floor of the mill is a gift shop and the 3rd floor is our Bean Palace Cafe serving soups, sandwiches and our famous beans and War Eagle Mill cornbread!

We ate in the 3rd story country cooking restauant and it was good, as you would think it had a limited menu, hard to think how they haul everyting up the 3 flights of stairs. Loved the old mill building and working wheel. Bought many whole grain flours and items, from a wide selection as he was grinding. It must be a very different experience on the busy craft weekends, but was a lovely stream, beauiful fall color on the surrounding trees and a nice spot, but a pretty twisty drive from Bentonville.

We enjoyed attending this crafts fair. Found the tents across the river from the Mill area to be superior. Would return if in that area at the appropriate time! Large variety of food booths with good food. Also noted an ATM machine for those in need. Small parking fee but no entrance fee.

I've been here many times over the last few years and the scenery on the drive out and when you get there is just beautiful. I enjoy the history of the place, having a good homestyle breakfast (not uber process foods), and being able to buy quality grits from the store. They have to make money to survive and the product is quality whether you are buying from the store or restaurant...so i don't mind paying more to support a local business that serves some local products. It is an old mill that still operates, so don't expect anything super fancy and upkept. The bathrooms are basically campground type outhouses...just be prepared that this isn't your tourist trap destination....it's a piece of community history.

The drive was beautiful with many trees turning in lovely fall colors. We visited here to attend the War Eagle Arts and Crafts Fair. It is always busy but very fun. Several great vendors, unique hand made crafts and beautiful art. I purchased a lovely handmade (in Arkansas) basket at a great price. The food was good. We bought Corn meal at the mill which is the best ever. Corn bread made with this corn meal tastes fresher than any other that I have tasted.

Don't try to get here without an app on your phone. This place is hard to find. The drive there is gorgeous and the setting is unique. We went to the Craft fair on a Sunday morning. It started getting so crowded we had to leave. Be prepared to wait in traffic if you go during the craft fair.
