Owner description: Our Commitment To You Our flour comes to you the War Eagle way - stone ground slow to preserve all the nutrients and the deep, rich taste. Our farmers are committed to maintaining a natural, organic and Non-GMO environment for growing grain and work hand-in-hand with us to shorten the time between the field, the milling process and your table. Since 1832 to today, we remain committed to you and your family's health. You are our first priority. We provide an array of grains and flours and specialty items. The 2nd floor of the mill is a gift shop and the 3rd floor is our Bean Palace Cafe serving soups, sandwiches and our famous beans and War Eagle Mill cornbread!

We enjoyed a beautiful drive to the War Eagle Mill. The view of the mill wheel being turned by the water was relaxing. Inside you could see the actual milling of grain taking place. They sold a large variety of such flours and grains. Additionally they had available a number of local products. On the top floor is a restaurant with a good reputation. However, we did not eat there.

Have been here many times but last fall was disappointing. Gift shop upstairs did not carry the variety or quantity of items they use to. Beans and cornbread (usually very good) were just ok. Area around Mill is beautiful though, can't beat the setting.

It reminded me of farming, and I never tire of of using the products produced here. We bought many products, and we ate there. Our group thought the food was pretty good.

Plan to come here in the spring or summer to enjoy nature's beauty. The mill is on a river and has some good history connected with it too. However, in October there is a HUGE craft show on the grounds..good or not good time to come depending on what you want.

War Eagle Mill is one of the few remaining operating gristmills in the Ozarks. It is a working, water-driven mill along War Eagle Creek just outside of Hobbs State Park east of Rogers. The grains produces are superior -- flours or all kinds, corn meal, grits, etc. It's interesting to watch the grain being produced. There is an interesting small gift shop on the 2nd floor and a small eatery on the third floor.
